The phone is working well for almost 3 years now, so it's just a matter of how the person takes care of his/her phone.

I was towards iphone6s first. I tried using a couple of them at the store. But somehow didn't feel completely satisfied. Later,I tried S6 edge and was abt to pick it. However after I used Xperia z5 at the demo stall, I didn't even get a second thought to check the former two. The awesome design yet simple, easy to handle edges first attracted me. The camera clarity, the full HD recording made me feel I was watching a mini TV. So in no time I went for it. The touch sensitivity is simply superb. This should be a game changer in this segment. I love my phone.

I have gone through your comparison with Sony, Samsung and Apple phone from long. I never seen that you gave credit to Sony. You prefer Samsung personally. I am using Apple, Samsung, LG and Sony phone since long. Every family member has different models, I have quite big family and you can imagine how many cell phone We have in our home. I can say sony has best camera from other brands you know how to use camera.After sony, One plus one has awesome camera, then LG and Apple. 2nd thing, Noone ever write about durability of the phones, Xiaomi and Samsung phones start lagging and hang after 8 to 9 months, Apple and Sony far better then other brands. I hope you will show ur comparison neutrally in the future

The blind camera test is reasonably fair, the Z5 won so there, let it go. I'm happy with my Blackberry Priv, & it did well in DxO Mark camera test, so that's a bonus.

Sony have their Japanese pride and honor or something like that ....if anybody catch them cheating they would be so embarrassed that they would probably quit making smartphones for good while Samsung want even be concerned with something so trivial xD they are actually proud to copy apple design and everything else...

FIRST this whole comment section should be deleted by moderators because 75% of it are trolls and people who just because they use certain brand or phone like to insult and bash others and in most cases they never even tried firsthand those devices they try to defame. PATHETIC.
HERE IS SOME REAL USER EXPERIENCE FROM ME :
Until recently i have bean working in small smartphone shop,besides selling new phones we also bean doing service and repairs and taking old devices to sell in second hand.So I experienced most devices first hand and also been able to give my old device + some money and buy new ones.So I used many phones like LG G2 and G3,HTC M8 , Samsung S4 and S5 and whole bunch of xperias from Z1,Z3,Z3+ and now regular Z5 and Sony phones are my favorite but that doesn't mean it's best it simply suits my needs and never disappointed me so far unlike others! to put it simply Sony win me over....
Using Z5 for 2 moths and It is great phone so far....
Camera is great I just hope SONY will improve SuperiorAuto mode which is nice and more than sufficient for most users but I think it could be better.
Battery is awesome can go trough one day of heavy usage and 2 days of moderate use( I use my phone most of the time for web browsing and watching YT and play some games like piano tiles etc....) but start a real game on more than 65% of brightness and I will drain any of these suckers in less than 3hours that is how it is with phones today.
IPS LCD screen is realistic and color accurate unlike amoled in Samsung which is just more eye pleasing but that is more mater of preference!
Sound quality and music listening is the best I have ever experienced on any device so definitely a strong point!
Phone is fast like any other flagship out there but also have simple UI which is lag free :) unlike heavy skins like touchwiz...
Design is awesome simple,elegant,classy and premium some Bond shit man....
is it worth the money? YES if you can pay that amount for just your phone.
does have any weak points? I'm trying to find them...usb type C would be nice...maybe better flash for night photography but all android phones lacking these so I cant complain much :(
is it heating up? yeah it does slightly like any other phone with quad or octa core CPU but no overheating present ! to put it simply all chipsets generate heat when used :D otherwise we wouldn't need coolers and fans in our computers same with these phones.
I am not a fanboy! I love all the tech and right now I'm really exited about upcoming S7 my last galaxy was S5 which had lot of potential but not good enough,S6 was disappointment for me hope that S7 will be different.

Haveheat in this review in such aspects Sony is good but winner is s6... Are you making ppl fool....users. Are throwing there Sammy in dustbin..... Because of champ in slow....... Z5 kills ppl who needs better speed music. Display camera battery allllll.... Z5 top

Whole world is disappointed because of Sammy slow..... When I saw s6 I m finished superb blindly buyed... After 10days of hard use mobile getting slow automatically for calls even msgs getting lag...but Sony much faster than alll of Sammy... Note 5 can not compare to z3.... Dony stand top on Android softwares....really z3plus gets heat but nobody can touch it... Z5 awsome reduced heat and alll....Sony Z5 kills Sammy and iPhone best phone ever.... Sammy finished

By the way, people really need to learn the difference between phone heating up like when playing games or warming up.
I think it is also a problem caused by Lollypop 5.1 update

Look at S6 fans claiming S6 is so faster than Z5 because of tests while the whole world is complaining about Samsung's slow UI & heating problems in S6.
