I agree with you, Samsung, HTC and Apple are the only well-known manufacturers who decided to put the fingerprint scanners at the front doubling as home button. We all know the patent issues between these three manufacturers one trying to copy the other one and versa. Leaving the sensible answer why they have all the same fingerprint scanner placements. in the other hand LG made a very intuitive fingerprint scanner placement at the back, deny it or not try to pick up your phone and observe the location of your index finger it is simply sitting pretty stable around the parameter where the LG's fingerprint scanner is located compared to how you do it with the front placements which you are exerting more effort to reach the home button and then repositioning your hands after doing so to navigate the screen. Fingerprint scanner at the back is really not a big downfall many manufacturers followed what LG did originally with their handsets and millions of users find it convenient. Really no debate on that field.

I literally have it in my hand right now, and the weight is not at all an issue. In fact, it is basically the same weight as my LG G3 when the G3 is on a case (I am going "naked" on the V10). It feels very flat and thin, but very premium and substantial.

Great phone, would buy it immediately if it was 5" screen and 130g. But come on, 5,7" and 192g, what a brick to have everyday in your pocket

rails, 02 Nov 2015Nexus 6p also have fingerprint reader on back. As do most cheaper Chinese phones. But the Nexus is meant for a different customer and it doesn't really compete with Apple and Samsung.

Everything great, except battery life and audio quality. The 2 things I care the most.
Honestly, this year is a big fail. Note 4 still rules...

The v10 does have fm radio, and btw it also records in 1080p 60fps as YouTube videos of the phone clearly show. Gsmarena most probably missed that.

Humongous phone size. Pathetic battery life. It seems that LG doesn't want my business anymore. I'll stick to my G2 for now.

The only real letdown is battery endurance but at least it's swappable. 1080p 60fps video recording would've been nice too. Still it's a winner. My G Pro can join its buddies in the display case when this baby takes over.

I picked up this phone @ T-Mobile over the weekend.
Happy so far, I came from a Note5. The battery life is as good, or better from my (limited) experience so far.
One sad note, it didn't come with headphones in the box. I guess the added expense kept T-Mobile from getting them. :(

Otherwise a very good phone.
