by the end of the month we have the launch of w10 for many devices with 8.1 and by then we also have a new build of th OS that hopefully improve battery life and other things... i hope anyway...

That 3G talk time is seriously disappointing for a 2015 flagship device. Even sadder is the fact that Microsoft is incharge of both the hardware and software here. How come they could not optimize it properly? I mean they had everything at their disposal that one could ask for. Still...

Also, continuum doesn't require the display dock. It'll work via Miracast as well (tested on the Xbox One, Netgear PTV3000, Microsoft HD-10, Microsoft Wireless display adapter and an Amazon FireTV Stick.

2. The leaked teardown from two weeks ago also revealed liquid cooling pipes in both smartphones.

While it is not the right place to ask, indeed, I am answering anyway ;)
1. Huawei G8 review is in fact in the review pipeline and will be out later this month.
2. I will make sure we check the in-call quality.
3. Will check for overheating for sure.
4. Will check the SD options.
If the review is out and these aren't in there, I will do it personaly and update it shortly.

Windows 10 mobile is surely not fully ready yet. The last build has been heavy on battery drain.
It's likely to be fixed soon.

In my opinion, weakest point of this device is its design. Who wouldn't want to pay premium price for device which doesn't look premium at all... Just turn off the screen, look at device as if you are seeing it very first time and ask yourself: would I ever buy this device for 550 USD? Most probably answer will be - no. Well unless you badly want Windows device. Then you have no much options...

Yeah I know it is off topic, but I really don't know how else to ask the GSMArena team for this.
Hey GSMArena, I hope you guys will be outing the review for Huawei G8 in a few days. Kindly do check properly how is its call quality, mainly on ear piece. And please please check the option whether we can save Apps and Games in SD Card or not? Also, how about overheating issues? Please GSMArena, don't forget my requested queries. I will be waiting for your review

I was really hoping this phone would have better battery life, I would have considered moving from Android to W10. Unfortunately, the battery results are subpar. Let's see how the XL does.
