The gaps between contact so huge at a time on screen it displays only 5 contacts though the font size u select the least one major default looks dummmy

        Dear, I m also using MI3 since January'2016. Not a single problem I have faced with this lovely phone. As far as the battery, it's still giving me 2 to 3 days of juice if I use it for 3 hours call, 3 hours of internet browsing and about 3-4 hours of Whatsapp chats each day. For a 5" 441ppi screen, after 1 year & 4 months, it's still impressive.
        I don't know why you're facing problems on your MI3.
        As far as the memory part is concerned, I click hell lot of pics on my phone daily and before going to bed, I transfer all the pics to my laptop, which hardly takes 5 minutes. And the phone memory is good to go again..

            I have a Mi3... my battery is now at 40 or 50% capacity, within 1 1/2 years. After maybe 3/4 year the battery was already getting really bad. Also, the 16 GB internal memory is constantly full. I can't do half the stuff I want to do with my phone because of that. Otherwise it's great, but having maybe 3-4 hours battery life at best is kind of limiting, as is not having any media etc. on my phone, and having to move my photos to the computer every few days.

            I'm sorry, but a replaceable battery and expendable storage are way more important than a metal back or a scratch free screen (it's going to crack anyway, give me a plastic screen over a glass one any day of the week, or at least lift the screen off the ground when it drops down... HTC used to be able to do so on their early smartphones!).

              As for battery life, UI and overheating that's some of the compromises you make when you buy a cheaper phone. How hard would you bitch if you had an iphone and you realized the reception sucks and most of the times you can't even get through a call without interruptions.

                  I'll dump my mi4c if the GPU is at least G6430 instead of G6200.

                    i got a Samsung A7 , Zenfone 2 , Huawei X1 , Vibe P1 , Sony Z2 , Samsung note 3 , Samsung Note 4 , Apple iphone 6 plus , HTC M8 , Lenovo K920pro Z2 , Lenovo Vibe Z K910 , Lenovo A5000 , Samsung P1200 , Alcatel Idol X , i hope my answer to u is clear , im really know what i want. have you facing charge by powerbank before 5pm? if answer is NO , then you can choose any brand. if YES , you have to find those phone with 4000mah to 5000mah & survive more than 12 hours in wifi test.

                        So many problems i did not have with "no-branded" Chinese smartphones.
                        Bad battery, terrible OS, overheating, and now, in just 6 months since i bought it, yellow stein on screen.
                        Of course, their "support" answers to me that "they don't have international guarantee"!?
                        So, better to buy Dogee, Cubot, iOcean...anything, but not Xiaomi.

                                      Hello !

                                      I plan to get this for my wife and I would like to know something. She hates this "iphone-like" launcher and would immediately replace it with Google's from the Play Store. Is it possible to do that without any problem ? The fingerprint would still work ?

                                        you need a desktop not phone. How many phone on earth can survive 8 hours of wifi browse still 60% charge left. Name some phone with same spec please.
