The x10 and optimization woes come into play tho...Google needs to help the devs at the community forums ASAP.

everyone who is complaining about the battery life should remember how much this phone is offering and at what price......
many other major maufacturers hav used x10 like sony and htc and hav had terrible endurance ratings, so the way i see it the big battery was only solution and m happy that it works.(above 70 hrs in dis price range).

if this battery test is same as Samsung A7 , 10 hours wifi web browse , then this 4000mah battery pack phone is useless. because Samsung A7 only can last me until 4pm , 24% . so 4000mah battery also only can last until evening ??

oh, again iOS like interface. Chinese OEM has good hardware, but their softward is letdown.

A huge upgrade for this new model. However xiaomi should consider upgrading internal storage to 64gb as 32gb is not enough for today trending.

I think the main reason that Xiaomi introduced this phone was because the Mediatek helio X10 processor runs down a normal battery too fast. I owned the Redmi Note 2 for a couple of weeks before selling it. The battery ran down within one day of normal use, totally unacceptable. They may have added the metal case and a few other goodies to justify the upgrade but the main reason must have been the awful battery life of the note 2.

Another "doozy" from Xiaomi. No removable battery or micro SD. It's getting a pattern these days it seems. Basically all this "update" did was to remove the removable battery.
Congrats, another gold razzy for you Xiaomi, we don't have enough dying sealed batteries, we need mooore...

The battery life is exactly as expected: I get 3 days worth of juice with the Note 3 while I got 2 days out of my Redmi Note 1. As a side note my wife barely gets through a full day with her LG G3.

So don't buy this phone. Just buy note 5 with lag touchwiz and then after few days rooted and flash new roms. After that complain to service center. This phone is lag and 4 gb ram not enough. Hahaha samsung fans always find that way. Typical huh
