Lapeng, 25 Feb 2021please help me, my Sony Xperia X Performance goes dark on e... moreRe the issue of phone screen going dark during call, is your phones light sensor at the top of screen blocked? I had the same issue when I used a camera cover on the selfie camera (I don't take selfies), which accidentally covered the light sensor. Phone screen was normal again once I removed the cover over the light sensor.

please help me, my Sony Xperia X Performance goes dark on every call and i don`t know how to rectify this and it is frustrating because sometimes the person on the call asks me a to press a digit but then the phone is dark, please assist!

Sony xperia x F5122 model 2016 is at my hand. Camera back 23mp and selfi 13mp. Ram 3gb and internal memory 64 GB. Software 6.1 what I've upgraded 7.0 naught. All features are very good but battery is 2620map what is not sufficient for the device.

thanks guys for the great comments but i have a big problem on how to identify the original sony experia xa. i purchased one in white but there was no head phone in the box, but in you tube, almost all of the videos i have watch so far with the box has the head phone. am confused i got the wrong one. help me out guys. please

I purchased the phone few days ago,been using it since. Battery is OK. It will last for 10-11 hours with medium use. Good phone.

I have just purchased an Experia X, I have tried putting on a screen protector, but the top left hand corner will not stick down because of what appears to be a Ridge over the Nfc, should this be removed

Samarth.........I recommend watching this video too, especially the part from 3:35-4:25. (Go to YouTube and search for "Sony Xperia X VS Xperia Z5 - What's the Difference?" and watch the 1st one at top with girl moderator. If you feel it's too long, at least watch the section I said, though all is better.) After seeing both these videos, I think you will see Sony is headed in the right direction, for the most part anyway.

I've actually heard mixed reviews about Z5's camera. But they say the X's camera will have "improved camera algorithms" on it plus that awesome Predictive Hybrid Autofocus too (go to Google and search for "Rafael Mantesso Sony", and watch the 2:15 video. I love that ad! lol Wish they'd show it on TV instead of JUST online.).

Well, I've learned in the last year or so that you can't always depend on reviews. Sometimes you just have to try out a device to know for sure. Like I had a $600 portable amp/DAC device called the Celsus Sound Companion One that various professional reviews said sounded better than the $300 Oppo HA-2. But out of curiousity I got the HA-2 and compared them together side-by-side, and no matter how many songs I tested them on (using same phone as player and same headphones), I could NOT hear a difference in quality at all. So I returned the Companion One, kept the HA-2, and saved $300! lol

GSM Arena have rated Sony so so in most of the phones, in terms of audio quality. So, I never tried them.
Nor are the latest Sony too good in camera, with the exception of Z5 and Z3 which are great!
