Sony Xperia X, X Performance and XA: Sony at MWC 2016

As most others focus on phablets, Sony showed the 5" market a lot of love with the new Xperia X series. The Xperia X Performance is essentially a Z-phone in disguise. Better yet, not even the Z5 has a brushed metal back.

    Very happy they got rid of the glass back! In the Z Series, the glass back would always shatter on its own or with little force. After many years they learned their lesson.
    I see that they're still using the same post processing for the camera though, *sigh*, they haven't learned yet for this one, but it is looking a bit better.
    Seems like a good phone.
    This will have a super battery life with a 1080p screen! Wish it was AMOLED.

      I hope it support MHL

        I guess the X Performance will be more expensive than S7. Except the best finger print sensor positioning, S7 is better in all aspects

            Any idea on pricing ? They must be in the range of Galaxy A series , in India the xperia X must sell below 30k INR

              Damn all these looks gorgeous.
              I need to know more about the X Performance to compare it to the other flagships. But I am happy that their new Concept UI is launched in these phones.

                        i think in terms of appearance,the XA is the most gorgeous of those 3.it looks almost like the C5 Ultra,with very very narrow bezel.

                          I can't wait to see a photo/video comparison between this years top contenders like the S7 , G5 , X Performance & so on.

                          They all promise so much in the camera department and the selfie cameras appear to be improved as well .

It is not necessary a 5 inch FHD phone with 4000 mAh battery have better battery backup than same phone with 3000 mAh. Many other factors depend: processor, quality of material used, efficiency, software etc.

                                  Shld have not bought z5.wasted didnt know this was coming. I like sony waterproof,battery life and simple ui combines this with metal just like htc. Gosh. Am impressed

                                        End of may or first week of June. Pretty sure about that.
                                        Hope the XA will be cheap. Because sellers purposely increase the prices for profit sometimes.
