Samsung Galaxy S7 edge review: Stargate

14 March, 2016
Pushed way out of its comfort zone and into a high-stakes flagship redesign last season, Samsung’s back to what it does best - making itself comfortable at the top of the heap. OK, it sounds like a bold claim but by no means incredible if you’ve seen the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.

One thing I wish you guys would bring back is the lock feature when looking at camera samples - in full res you used to be able to move around the image with the cursor and then right-click to lock onto a certain area. Would make comparing specific areas from different phone cameras super easy.

"The new processor and graphics provide enough boost over the previous generation to make for a worthy purchase."

That's just a bunch of crap here. Also, the new narrower field of view, 4:3 aspect ratio and lower resolution should be classified as CONS.
Lower sunlight brightness, below avarage speaker and the awful design face-lift and dull colors are a real deal breakers so Samsung left a lot room for improvement for next year.

Regarding the display, not thrilled about the black line around the perimeter. A better transition or intro would have been nice. "Display, meet chassis edge."

I wished to buy one but thought of price after 5 months. Just like the way of s6 it eventually comes down

Stellar review from GSMArena! I myself much prefer the regular, smaller S7, but this phone is going to sell like hot cakes. Props to Samsung for getting back on track after the derailment last year.

my next phone! Haven;t been so exited about a phone in a while! After almost 2 years with an ugly and bland iphone 6, can't wait to get back to android, where i can actually design my own homepage. That 3600 mAh is what sold me this phone!
