HUAWEI demonstrate that it is in fact only the beginning give an ample and well-thought campaign and consolidation then climb among the major giants manufacturers of mobile. This series P9 look fantastic in design. And facilities, endowments that we have cell phones are good to very good.

The only highlight is camera.. Rest all are same as today's big big flagships. That Lieca lens costs tooo much i think.. Otherwise its price would be almost similar to xiomi mi5. And this dual camera setup doesn't look like gimmick.

If those dual cameras work well together (and i think they really should) and the speakers are good, this will be one seriously good phone.
I'm talking about the P9 plus... The other one is just small in my opinion, and the plus has an amoled panel too. I'm perfectly fine with 1080p, i completely agree with Huawei's CEO.

Wow much prettier than the leaks. I hope they fix the weak gpu for the next generation. That seems to be forcing some compromises. Can't wait to see how the camera works. Seems to need a lot of software magic.

"Change the way u see the world"
Looks like Huawei has borrowed this tagline

            Oh wait
            It's of Microsoft Hololens
If you change the way u see the world, you can change the world u see

I just can't help myself now I've said it! :S
For the remainder of my life on this planet it'll always be 'Hawaii'

I'm excited for the reviews to roll out and I will definitely go to the store once it launch, just to have a look at it in person. I hope that digital OIS can pull through. This would complete the impressive already camera aparature.

I think you'd have to be a camera buff to pay so much for the P9. A similar size phone, the Xiaomi Mi5 is much less expensive, although not as good if you want great photos. I think the Xiaomi will have much better battery life as well, something that is way more important to me than the camera.

You say that the P9 has a 3400 mAh battery, I thought that size was only in the P9 Plus.

Great phone, dont get me wrong. But Huawai seems over confident with the pricing.
                            Actually this should be direct competitor to Xiaomi Mi5,as it is equal in all aspects except few;
-Huawai has briliant build and feel compared to Xiaomi, but the later one had SD820 for exchange.... arguably better(and more expensive) SoC than Huawai's own soc.
-Huawai has two cameras(still to see the quality of them),but Xiaomi had one with OIS (prefered by many people)
So in any other aspects I find P9 and Mi5 egual... except the pricing : /. Still think that Huawai does'nt have that much brand value over its competitor
                            My 2 cent

AnonD-442781, 06 Apr 2016How many cores does the GPU have? Isbit the same as the s7 ... moreI think it's 4 cores, but haven't seen an official confirmation yet. The S7 (the Exynos version at least) has 12 cores.

Gibby, 06 Apr 2016"Huawei Five Oh" ;)It's yo' boy Floss!

Love it especially in black color. But Huawei needs to kill EMUI asap... If Huawei was just putting stock Android on their devices they would sell tenfold as many

Decisions decisions, either the P9 or P9 Plus, why do they make it hard to choose from, think i will have to buy both.

Huawei has made it P9 series, liking people who are not able opportunity to buy phones over the price of $ 500. The endowments of the two phones, P9 series, will in the end, a large number of people who want a TOP real phone, to have access to buy.Huawei is part of those producers, who think before producing a phone. Only when you look at this phone, you have the real feeling, it is a gorgeous handset and it will make a comfortable life. Huawei did not mind that other manufacturers about the real possibilities of their phones. For this they have my appreciation.

I wish it lives up to the hype created by Huawei
                                        Hoping for a great camera
Though lack of OIS may be a deal breaker for some.
Hoping for Sony level digital image stabilization on this one..

The phone looks absolutely stunning much better than those previous leaked renders.
And I'm curious about what wonder that dual cameras at the back bring
