Nothing new or exciting in the design of HTC10.
S7 is better than Htc10 and LG5. Because LG5 low part is moving and could be breakable when you sit with the phone in pocket.

I'm not a Samsung fanboy I'm currently using a LG V10 but every high end phone that comes out is claimed by users to be better than the S7/Edge even before actual reviews. I am planning to buy this phone if the battery is good but how about waiting before bragging guys.

When you have a generic phone with nothing to differentiate it from the other smartphones of course that the headsets became very important. The sound coming from the headsets is more important than the size / screen ratio or it's whole design.
Did anyone noticed that most of the pictures (even the presentation movie) avoids showing the front of the phone? Probably not, because when you are a fan boy ...

4.Apple's earpods are crazy good,anything beyond that will required over the ear headphones for any meaningfull improvement

I use only 300 euro+ headphones for myself and can compare pretty well the sounds. Anyway, the new HTC 10 headphones should be better than M9's and also than iphones'.

And for the price of ~750€ you could choose between S7edge& iphone6s Plus 16GB?! And as far as I know their target should have been the regulary S7 and iphone6s...

Only two companies I know of that sponsor unlocking the boot loader of their Android device are htc and Google, there might be more out there...this shows consumer driven innovation in my thinking. The advancement and development of both soft layer and hardware layer go hand in hand for devices. So ways of reaching the public for opinions goes far beyond the common survey.
Each vendor is in its own class. It's almost comparing Mangos to Coconuts imo. Samsung has its way with amoled screens, and HTC is known for their use of Super LCDs...and so on and so on.
What each has is almost purely driven by their own consumer base and its opinions along with its each company's own innovations. HTC produced in combination with the consumer feedback/tastes and new innovations/technology what they wanted on the market, same for Samsung. So if you do not like the new Samsung you may not be a fan or have not been looking for what others wanted in one, and same goes for the HTC 10 or any newer phone for that matter.
Personally I would like to try the htc 10, and see if my average joe tastes/needs even matter at all in the scheme of things. Anyone else willing?

Anonim, 13 Apr 2016I understand the M7, M8, M9 owners waiting so long for a ne... more1)You are right about the dimensions,but don't forget S7 has wraped screen which also wrap the images at both end.Battery is bigger tho.
2)Htc look outdated?! Well thats very subjective,I find it nice!And for me S7 edge looks like S5 who was baked in owen for 15min on 220^C.Glass back is also a No No for me.
3)don't know what are you saying,but S7edge should last a bit longer on single charge.Anyway both phones will give you full day of heavy usage or at least two days of medium use.
4)true m10 is mill thicker,but its edges are much thiner and shouldnt be of much difference when you hold them both.Sadly both had camera bump(even bigger on the edge) and will required cases :(
5)I am using cell phones for 20 years,and never ever had the need for waterproofing!Someone will say 'you dont have to using it,its there for peace of mind'... But the truth is you can't using it anyway! And minor falls and splashes are nothing for ordinary phone anyway.Audio quality is of some concern for me... That being said.
6) Prices are the only weak point for M10.I did'nt expect it to be cheaper than S7,but this is outrageous!
