Rushed review, we need a review after the phone has been updated. With more comparisons.
Anyway, it is still a win compared to any TouchWiz lame device.

I had to make sure if I was reading a GSMArena review. It indeed does feel rushed, and a little biased. HTC wouldn't be so foolish as to make tall claims about its hardware and not deliver on the said fronts. While average battery life can be attributed to the QHD screen and DAC, HTC's lean software implementation and the punchy chipset should ensure that it blazes through the benchmarks without an exception. The camera is stellar in its own right, albeit a notch slower than the competition, and the true colour reproduction seems to offend everyone used to the saturated AMOLED shades. Lastly, the review is missing out on essentials like brightness levels, sunlight legibility levels, browser performance benchmarks and camera and video quality comparison charts. Follow your desire and choose som... moreI know one could be happy with this phone, but if I personally was to buy a new non-Nexus phone with a small screen (less than 6") now, I'd most likely choose the S7 Edge. Bigger screen and better battery life, though it would have to be rooted and the TouchWiz replaced with vanilla Android.

Many thanks GSM team, I was waiting for this, before making my final decision to go for this device or Samsung s7, but now and based on the battery review, I believe I will just continue with Samsung.

Bad camera, look at the corners, blurry image, not as good as S7 and G5, my opinion is that HTC has failed again, too bad...

Follow your desire and choose something you are really enjoying, not by some ridiculous test. I choose HTC all the way, because i wanna enjoy things that my eyes see, feel things that my hands feel. Yes this tests are very useful when you wanna compare Gtx 980 over 980ti or intel core i7 4790 with 4790k. But about smartphone its all the same thing. They just feels differently. Let your desire choose your smartphone :)

this camera destroys s7 camera. S7 is very annoying when it captures some pictures of trees and bushes,just like double oversharpened images from photoshop,and looks like painting.

So there's no actual reason to choose this over any other flagship. Audio with headphones is great of course, but so it is on rivals as well. And the worst thing is, 5.2" and less than 70 hours endurance result? At least the camera is better than it was on ex-M8, they managed to do that... In a couple of years. Not impressed overall.
