The Galaxy J5 (2016) is the centerpiece of the company’s mid-range portfolio for year. With its predecessor becoming a huge hit in developing markets, the company really needs the 2016 model to come out good and help keep Chinese makers at bay.

      Its ironic samsung still manage to stay on top even with these crap smartphones launched. Old android version, minimum sensors, boring design , lack of features and a total waste of 180$.

        One question for gsmarena, why you guys didnt mention lack of andriod 6 as a negative part,because its really a shame for the samsung to relase a phone now with andriod 5, it is a derict insult. J5 2015 never get marshmallow(like many other samsung phones),and how are the chances of this phone to get 6????? And as everyone know samsung upgrades most of the time destroy lower models,with out any change

          Something is wrong with the battery testing procedure. There is no way that the endurance rating and the video playback time are that much low. Given the fact that J5 2015 had an amazing battery life with 2600 mah having almost the same specs.
