was looking for a secondary phone, but stopped reading after looking the battery endurance. modern phones (budget or expensive) should at least nail double digit endurance on all 3 categories..

As the review is stating, the phone has only just a bit above 10 GB of free space left of the 16 GB after the orginal software included by Sony.
The question follows: can the space be extended by a memory card for additional application space?
I'm not interested in having more space for pictures, videos or music. Just applications.
With my current phone, Samsung Galaxy S2, the applications can't be installed in anywhere else than the original space of the phone, which is a huge restriction.
If something has changed within the years, and apps can be installed to additional memory card, i might consider updating. Otherwise not.

Sony, before you start selling new models i hpoe youve fixed ur performance bugs. I bought your c4 and it sucks big time. It was just so sluggish, poor battery performance and takes a long time to charge. I couldnt take it anymore, so i had to sell it after 2 months of use only. I now have a Samsung a5 2016 and man performance are of different levels despite specs are practicaly the same on paper. The only advantages that the c4 has with my current pne were the screen mirroring and front flash, but i can live without those 2 unlike speed and performance.
