Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) preview: First look

The 2016 Galaxy J2 is Samsung's latest budget Android device. It is the successor to last year's Galaxy J2 and improves upon it in several areas, most predictably in the specification department. However, Samsung has also added some new features, such as the Smart Glow, a unique ring of LED notification light around the rear camera that lights up in various colors, and also S Bike mode, and something Samsung calls Turbo Boost Technology. Will all this be enough for the phone to survive in the fiercely competitive budget Android phone market? We took a quick look at the device to find out.

    What The Use Of Amoled Display If U Can't Use Continuous 8hrs to 10 Hrs ........ Still Lumia 640, Xiaomi Redmi 3, Lenovo Vibe P1m Better Option Than This Samsung :)

        its just awesome...I bought it nd totally satisfied at this price...however their is lack of speedy battery charging... it's takes alot of time in charge.........

            rakesh0991, 14 Jul 2016anyone noticed that from 2015 samsung omitting the touchwiz... moreOh!...I wasn't aware of it...Thanks for the info...though my regret about S Duos 2 was that it didn't get Kitkat upgrade, it works fine and I recently changed the Battery and its backup is quite good in comparison to the original battery which I had got with the device....

                anyone noticed that from 2015 samsung omitting the touchwiz music player for their J and On series and other low end phones, whereas s duos 2, galaxy core had that player installed, that's a excellent music player though......

                      Muthu, 13 Jul 2016The j series phones have low audio volume complaint consist... moreMy phone S Duos 2 has smart volume by which we can set the volume to our convenience for both left and right speakers of our earphone...hope there must be some kind of feature to adjust the volume settings in the J series too...Price of the devices may reduce during festive seasons like Vijayadasami & Diwali etc...not in that much of a hurry...:) so can afford to play the waiting game..

Also they don't drop price that easily. Just today, it got Rs.1000 discount. Not sure if it would get any more discounts.

They ... moreThanks for your suggestion sir....will surely think of it....one more option is to wait for the price of Galaxy J5 ( 2016 ) to reduce in the next few months...hope it happens...:)
