Huawei P9 Plus review: Size up

When is it available in the UK. It is out on Vodafone and o2 but not unlocked. Online there is only the Chinese version where they open and install Google Play aftermarket.
Where is the UK unlocked version available from?

The low-light performance is indeed better on the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus compared to the Gaalxy S7 / S7 edge. But only when using the monochrome camera. The color one is quite poor in low-light unless you start using the manual settings.
The lack of a Bayer filter really helps in low-light and I was stunned by some of the results. Unfortunately I was unable to provide comparison samples (P9 vs S7) for the review here, and I am truly sorry for that.

As far as I know, only the Nexus 6P and LG G5 are on par with the S7 in low light photography. Gotta sell the review somehow, though...

I just don't understand why they don't add more cores to GPU
use a 880MP12 instead of 880P4.
They should have fixed it in the plus version.

In Finland the P9 plus costs 799euro and for now it comes with the Huawei wacth.
It should be awailable, but (just checed) it's out of stock in tree retailers. one of them mentioned "in stock in 3-10 days"

When P9 was reviewed here it's been said that P9 has the best camera for photos, especially at night. A now all of the sudden, Galaxy S7 have a better camera in low light than P9 Plus (which has the same camera).
Here:
"The Galaxy S7 has the looks, offers better performance, and water-proofing. The camera is excellent, too, but the low-light skills aren't as good, and you can't have those dramatic B&W pictures. It's the best-selling flagship this season and is worth checking out."

the Best Call quality I have ever experienced lately.
built quality is fantastic.
screen is good too
indoor camera performance is not upto the mark.
but the best review I though #gsmarena will bash at it for no reason but they are good guys :) they wrote the truth.
the price is a question otherwise such a wonderful phone.

Monochrome samples make me nostalgic and reminds me when I used to shoot with my DLSR :( Good old days!
The samples are pretty good, monochrome ones and low light ones especially but daylight ones do need a little more details. And Huawei has to be practical and stop with rear mounted fingerprint readers!
