no it isn't XP has it's own purpose and fulfills it perfectly and so does XZ , but it's true you don't seam to get SONY .

Can't recall any Sony-phone camera performing better than the competitors using the exactly same camera. It has always been a problem and seems like it continues to be so. And yeah, the pictures aren't looking good.

They are perfecting the components? Most of the components are OTS from an OEM! What is left doesn't justify the steep price-hike.
You seem just like the kind of guy that manages to bite the whole "it's plastic but the designers where thinking of ceramic". PREMIUM, TOP -- BS.

no dust & water resistant for X compact.. disappointing. Although I need more internal memory, I like my Z3 compact more.

The XZ does look good, however from the pictures it seems that Sony is sticking with their horrible display calibration (i.e. white point of 9000-10,000K), making everything look bluish. A pity. One may hope that with Nougat's hardware calibration setting this will be a non-issue.

650 is no 820! The whole point with these compact Sony was that you got flagship hardware but in a smaller phone!
