I love the specs, DAC... but this time design is not for me :(
Was waiting for this phone but is not beautiful as i was expecting. V10 was also beautiful phone, more designer oriented. Yes, personal taste...
Hope soon come out some other phone with superb audio chipset.

Here's a thought. The front camera actually uses a higher resolution sensor, maybe 8MP. A normal shot would crop a 5MP image out of the 8MP so there is no loss of quality while the wide shot would use the entire 8MP of sensor and then downsample to 5MP. Make sense?
BTW, I am loving the V20 although I don't really need the second ticker. I hope this will starts the next revolution with all 2017 flagships coming in with excellent audio. And I can't wait to see the audio comparison of the V20 against the Axon 7 and HTC 10.

As a guy who reads peoples opinion here alot about new phones or updates for whatever ios/android i have figured out that people will not stop complaining "Whatever" companies have made for their phones , the phone has a 3200mah battery so people says why it is not 4000mah and even if lg made it with 5000mah people would complain thats its not 6000mah , if it have a 16mp camera why its not 20mp ?etc... when a new update is released people just complain about whats missing and may not give a damn about whats new . My point is not about just accepting what manufacturers do but its the fact that u will never find a product that satisfy all your needs , In fact as a someone who changed his phones alot your needs always have no end !

Will it have a bootloop problem, or will LG sort it out at the production line for this model.
I have a G4 that after 1 year went for repair with bootloop issue. Never had a broke down phone before. This is my first mobile phone that I had to use a repair center. With that in mind, I'm concern in choosing LG again as a mobile brand.
When will it be available the dual sim ? A year after the regular model ?
I will have to wait to see if this model is LG free issues.

I read the rumors about the 4000 mAh battery and I was ready to sell my S7 Edge and replace it with the V20. I am still an LG fan since my beloved G2, but lately LG has a real problem with the small batteries (I don't care about swapping batteries) and huge bezels.
So when they said the V20 battery is only 3200 mAh, my hopes vanished. The Snapdragon 820 si also much more power hungry than Samsung's Exynos 8890, so the battery life will probably be much worse than the Exynos variant of S7 Edge.
So, better luck next time, LG.

Every Samsung device with Exynos SoC is better th... moreThat's when the true potential of Exynos started to show up when the Galaxy S6 was released with the 7420 (and when Qualcomm had troubles with the "heating" SD810). Before that, Snapdragon chipsets fared better in battery life like the Galaxy S4 for instance: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s4-review-914p3.php

A bigger battery would have been nice but this phone has some features that I just must have. First and foremost, I can remove the battery! Thank you LG! The second most important thing is the shock resistance. I think that is quite overlooked. So glad it will durable! And third, the quad DAC. I really want an audiophile phone and this seems to be it! I think the phone looks sexy as fk and I'm going to save and get one!

just to add my opinion on the battery...
I had the htc m9 (2840mah) and just got the g5 (2800mah). with the m9 I had to take my charger to work with me as the phone wouldn't last the day from 8am to 8pm. now, not only does my phone last all day but I can also leave it on overnight and only put it on the charge for an hour before I leave for work in the morning and its back to 100% again. Size isn't as important as you think

Pabliell, 07 Sep 2016LG went downhill with battery life because they started to ... moreIf you think the g5 was small then I don't know why you expect any significant improvement here. The battery is 1.14x bigger, and the display area (not diagonal, but actual area) is 1.15x bigger. So there is no room for improvement on that line. Remember this is a 5.7" device.
This is what happens when they use lcd. Not only does it take more battery, but its thicker so it leaves less room to improve the battery. And removable batteries require extra casing, so it means even less mah in the battery.

Valoni, 07 Sep 2016So you think Exynos models are better for battery lifetime? They are. Every Samsung device with Exynos SoC is better than its Snapdragon sibling in battery life.

AnonD-448401, 07 Sep 2016dont know.but it has a removable battery so its better.i re... moreI disagree completely with you. Lg phones have great standby time but as soon as you start to used them like with data on they drain very fast.
Samsung phones have decent standby time but last longer when you use them heavily. So do you want standby time or good battery when used.
I own lg g3 and the battery is not great just average. Also have the note 3
Gsmarena applies the same method to test every phone, so there is no bias.
