LG V20 hands-on: First impressions

06 September 2016
Today LG unveiled the highly anticipated LG V20, a successor of the rugged and powerful V10 phablet. The new V20 focuses on keeping what made the V10 so cool - the secondary display, toughness, great audio specs and impressive camera capabilities, but continues to improve the looks, the chipset, the camera experience, and the battery life.

This time battery is a bit bigger, not the Note level, but with decent optimization it can be good enough. Won't be even close to the best ones though.

Hello LG - It would have cost you around 2-5 dollars to go all in with 6 GB of ram

              Lg v20 vs note 7
              .
V20: dual screen. Dual rear and selfie camera . Removeable battery . Android 7. Metal body. More durable body
Note7: ip68 . Iris scanner . Maybe better display and battery life

                Ugly!!!

i hope gsm reviews v20 honestly coz many are hoping it to be good now that note 7 is exploding.

The chance of it having anywhere near the note series is 0. The chance of it being even half decent is still almost 0. After all, the main battery drain is using 1440p LCD. Lg went completely downhill for battery life when they started using 1440p.

This feature is nice but lg is a disaster in battery endurance. Had g3 and currently g4 and they are a disaster in therms of battery. My best friend has a g5 and his battery drains fast aswell. If you are a hard user lg is not for you. Otherwise this v20 looks promising but not for me because I dont like phablets.

Well, damn! This is actually a very decent-looking phone and except for the small screen (less than 6" - would love to see a Plus-variant) I'm interested. Let's see what the reviews are going to say.

phones are like people.. at first you are atracted by the looking .. means if is damn ugly .. you will not care much how he is "inside" same happen with phone.. well the phone looks good unless you turn it around and see that stupid dual camera that ruin the desing .. the entire back its just ugly .. why ? to have dual camera.? who the hell relly need dual camera..? i prefer a 1 good gamera and a verry nice looking back .. then a ugly back but dual camera.. and the second minus is the battery .. make at last 3.5k battery remove the ugly dual.. camera and there you go .. i wanted to buy it but with that dual in back.. i`ll just say pass this time

My question is : Is the non removable battery has more better life than removable or not ?

Cknsidering the liusy track record of LG and bootloop issues. I won't be surprised if that hardware defect rears its ugly head in V20. In fact, it is probably the only reason i cannot trust LG flagships. I mean, having an issue in one flagship is an accident but, seeing these recurring issues in V0 and G5 makes this a pattern.
P.S.: gsmarena readers, what do u think about this?
