Yes its there and it doesnt bother us as much as some sammy fanboys (that keep ranting over it for years now)...
Just as you are not bothered with cons of your fav device like lack of detail, lack of depth of view, unrealistic colors, oversharpening....
Even pro camera reviewers say its there, but dont mind it, as other qualities of sonys mobile cameras are just equally important for photo quality.

All reviewers notice the noise and postprocessing problem with the camera. Anyone with eyes can see it. It's disgraceful. I don't know why Sony fans pretend it isn't there.

Exactly the WRONG thing to do. The sensor and software generally perform best when allowed to super-sample especially in low light where this sensor produces some of the best images of any smartphone. If this is how the camera has been reviewed then a number of the comparison images provided are completely worthless. The only time to use the 23mp setting is when taking well lit photos of a large space when the extra detail is needed - ie scenery photography.

xz has more grain, m5 not so color accurate.

well.. you can use other player to make it louder. try jet audio, it has "pre-amp" feature. you can configure it to make your volume louder.

i m in love with this phone thanks gsmarena !! waterproofing dual speaker good size simple and unique design that make it new for years! just go back look at xperia z3 and galaxy s5 .. xperia z3 after this years even is a shiny even xperia z. and xperia z ultra . they design a phone for years even they show this in battery !! they don't say anything about fastcharging becoz they preffer normal charging !! and something like qnovo make battery use normal for years. why sony don't advertise their mobiles. they just do that in eufa and other soccer champions . sony is a good and recpectable company that people forget it!! sony is alive man go for it there is quality like many years ago.

- back when Sony released the Z5 Premium, all biased reviewers complained they couldn't notice a difference in clarity between 4K and FHD in smartphones. If you can't notice a difference between 4K and FHD, you surely can't notice a difference between QHD and FHD. Again an invalid statement.
- look at non biased camera reviews of the XZ.
- agreed, they could have put 4GB RAM on the XZ. Even though you can't notice a difference now, it's good for future proofing. In my opinion this is the only con of XZ.

I don't know that Xperia xz is true flagship cell or not but I do believe that with Sony's hardware and software it is my dream right now. I ll buy it. Sony is the best

in mobile version of site why gsmarena downscale full size images ?! thay are very blured and downscaled but in desktop version u can save and see all of the details ... in mobile version of site i thought i look at 3.15mp photos !!!!

maybe use less iso improve sharpness and improve noise !! 8000 with that shutter speed is just good for very speedy images in low light
