Sony Xperia XZ review: X to the Z

Sony's latest flagship, the Xperia Z6 comes with refined design, improved camera, and a due update in specs. Wait, back up a little there - it's actually called the Xperia XZ this time around but, yeah, the rest of that is true.

    This is the best Xperia ever made. Gonna buy it and get rid of my Note 7, regardless the best phone in market right now.

      Also as far as design you should look at the 4 year old Xiaomi Mi3 or slightly older Lumia N9

        Sony is the last company to offer mid range specs (ram, battery, resolution, questionable camera) in high end prices.

        Even Apple cleaned up her act there.

        I honestly , I don't get this company (Sony, I mean). This is the last year their mobile division is up and running and they continue the same mistakes? I honestly don't get them.

With any other camera in 2016 flagships you have to pixel peep or stare for a while to see it's weaknesses, but with this the noise is just right there. Not sure about colour reproduction comparisons, but they are just completely irrelevant with such glaring weaknesses.

              Being so bad at something like that is the sort of thing you would expect from cheap budget phones, not expensive $700 phones. It's not something that can be compensated for.

                I suggest you watch PA's video comparison between the XZ and S7 in 1080 shooting. Its worth noting that the video shot in the S7 is much more wobbly ;-)
                You guys complain about the camera shots taken by XZ because its a SONY. If it was Apple or Samsung having the exact same camera results you would call it revolutionary.
                GSMA should conduct a blind test, and Sony will win like before. Don't you think? Last year the Z5 won.

It doesn't e... morenow you are just trolling , or you have problem with your eyesight ... zoom in at atleast 100% but better even further and compare it to likes of S7 and HTC 10 , XZ trumps them both when it comes to details and color reproduction and will definitely top dxo chart again .

                    I see people commenting nonsense like no detail, fuzzy and crap alike, obviously lying, else they would offer some compares to cameras they think are better.
                    Im awaiting yet to see such proof behind their babble.

                    This camera has its cons, but even with those, tops all the competitors.
                    Amazing camera on this phone.

It doesn't even begin to compare to its competitors. It might be because GSMarena didn't use the default and went for 21mp, or it might just be because it just sucks that bad.

                            Normally I can't tell the difference without pixel peeping or taking a proper look at it, but this camera is clearly poor at a single glance. Even the oneplus 3 or Huawei have shown much better photos, which require you to look closer before saying its poor or not.

                                  I don't know whay, every tech sites always has a bad reviews on each Sony Xperia phones.. I even used Xperia Z3+ over a year and its amazing phone no over heating anymore since 6.0.1 update and the camera is fine. I think all the reviewer have an eagle eyes so that's why they could see it the details in every aspect...

                                    the frame is made from PLASTIC CARBONATE.
                                    sony is (and will) never change, Plastic plastic and plastic again. lol.
                                    apple and sammy are still more superior in terms of build quality.

                                    choose sony, if you want cheap build quality with super expensive price.

                                        All the pictures look fuzzy and lack detail. Makes me think I should get my eyes checked before I look around and realise it's just Sony again.
