Sony Xperia XZ review: X to the Z

Sony's latest flagship, the Xperia Z6 comes with refined design, improved camera, and a due update in specs. Wait, back up a little there - it's actually called the Xperia XZ this time around but, yeah, the rest of that is true.

AnonD-578149, 30 Nov 2016wtf is this aging disease do you have any idea what you're ... moreYou dont need much features. that is where android got it all wrong! they thought that by having a lot of features, they could outrun others but actually, they cant. take a look at sony's own music app. got also bundled with Google's play music. then there's sony's gallery also bundled with google's photos. that, my friend, is what we call bloatwares. that is why your phone will slow down in just months of usage unlike on iPhone, which is a simplified formula of a smartphone. they just put what you need, at least that is what I believe

Samsung still is better at a lot of ways. the market says so. The market, dude, talk about sales.

Sony has great software support I have a z3 and it still gets great suppotr even today and feels and performs as good as it was when brand new. Sony has great support and optimized software.

        It's more powerful than the iphone in almost every way. Yes, the iphone opens up games and apps faster, but then agian that's always been its strength is its speed. But speed is not everything features and user experience are more important and its not like well optimized android is exactly slow.

I felt that before this I use the Samsung listen music is very poorest experience when I now using Xperia Z2, the Xperia Z2 is superb for listen music, the X series are even better, so you should know no one can beat Sony in listen music.

                I really like to compare the same scene shot by different phones, and here the XZ is not that much better than the Moto X Play, at least in GSMArena reviews. Better dynamic range, less clipped highlights but that's it. The Axon 7 has better detail than both.

                    The Xperia XZ have Qnovo charging tech, so their battery lifespan will double up and won't suffer from battery degrading.

                    Btw, will you jailbreak for your iphone s6 plus when the next IOS version coming? I heard people say the jailbreak for next version IOS always not as good as the firsthand. Next time you could leave your comments at the iphone 6 plus page.

                    I am enjoy the water-proofing feature and use it quite often, please be remember my Xperia Z2 is a 2 and half years phone, I know how to maintain the water-proofing feature, the dual stereo speaker still work well, don't like Samsung s7 suffer from water damage.

So, i can infer, that this iphone would still hold a little bit longer than this new XZ in the future. Well, that goes without saying since this is an ios compared to an android who ages blatantly fast. No matter how powerful an android device is, new or not, after a year, it will be so old like it was 3 years already. Again, water-proofing feature wont save you from android aging disease.

It say user can wash with fresh water, so I wash it daily, I know how to maintain the water-proofing feature so until now I get 2 and half years from the benefits and still gaining, it is still working fast. I just wash it to prove it the trolls are false and misleading people, they are fake user from the competitors

It just takes a little bit of caution to avoid liquids and i know for sure, anytime, i will choose advance technology (which is a futuristic and stellar performance that could endure years of smartphone aging) over waterproofing still if thats the case. Who shines and cleans his phone using water? heck, if you read the warranty given to you by sony, you could see there that there is no warranty for unaccidental water leakage. Still, not water-waterproofed phone.

I had a sony xperia z ultra and it was beautiful i admit but after a year or so, it started to overheat and lag, and eventually it consumes more battery than usual. Then, i updated its latest firmware and it became worse! So i can easily assume that this xperia XZ might be beautiful and fast right now, but after months or a year of usage, it will age a lot. LIKE A LOT. You cannot dispute that, unless you are on a daily basis of erasing cache and other junks that will slow your phone down but thats not the way to go.

My 2 and half year Xperia Z2 is very fast without any lag, it is very smooth. The XZ with Nougat should be even better than Z2. I love water-proofing feature, it is weather guard for an expensive device and I still like to wash it dialy to keep it clean and shine.

                                IPhone 6s no waterproofing feature, you don't know the waterproofing's benefits, untill you realise it could be too late.

                                  When Sony introduced aluminium, no one called it premium. When Samsung started to use aluminium, it's called premium.                                     Sony is best android software out there, a survey showed Sonys android UI to be more stable than even googles own and even iOS.
                                    Android gives numerous more features than iOS, and Sonys android UI doesnt lag, not even after 2 years...

This sony must be water-resistant phone, but still, water -resistance wont cure lag, bugs, and a lot of bloatwares in the following months or years of usage. at least on iPhone, you could just sit there and wait two years of advancement before the android market to reach iOS performance standards. ooopsss.
