Huawei Mate 9 review: Mighty Mate

14 November 2016
With Huawei announcing the Mate 9, the manufacturer has been following the well-established game plan of releasing a 'mainstream' pocketable flagship in the spring, only to slap us with the phablet come fall time, thus staying relevant throughout the year. In this case, the Huawei Mate 9 we now have in our hands, comes 7 months after the P9.

What happened to the overall battery life?
Though the web browsing is good.

Photos are disappointingly soft. Battery is also disappointing for 4000mAh, Mi5 lasts a lot longer using 3000mAh. Worse still I have seen how bad this can stutter in games, and all you can see is wheels(minus the body) driving around in Asphalt Extreme, better to have the Snapdragon support.

If only a certain phone didn't blow up it would have been leagues ahead of all the half hearted phones that have come out this year.

Excellent phone, maybe best buy in flagship segment at this moment. But, battery life of 82 hours is much lower that Mate 8 who had 103 hours, I don't know why because battery is the same, screen a bit smaller and CPU stronger

This looks good especially the camera it rocks with a 4K capability of shooting videos. The only downgrade for this is the screen resolution and price. To consider.
