Meizu MX6 review: Six of a kind

21 November 2016
Meizu MX6 hit the shelves in July and has been spicing up the rich Android lineup the company has built over the past year. The MX6 is a sequel to the highly popular MX5 and offers some long-awaited upgrades to the series - a better processor with high-speed cores and faster LTE connectivity.

Sad to see meizu's audio quality go down with each new release after the Pro5 :(
They started releasing too many phones and that too with crappy mediates processors . Should have stuck to exynos :(.... just my opinion

A endurance rating of 68 is quite good considering the 3060 mAh battery. Redmi Note 3 Pro with a SD 650 scored 93 using a 4050 mAh battery (the higher battery score is explained by the larger battery). Thus, the energy efficiency is not worse on this device compared to a midrange snapdragon SOC.

What is the purpose of deca core processor if the result are both battery hunger and snail performance ?

Battery life is subpar. 68h ? For a flagship it should be at least 85-90h if not more. This phone will only sell for a low price.

So Helio X20 gives "excellent performance for the money" but Redmis give you the same scores for much less money, Mi5 costs the same but trashes MX6 when it comes to performance. What?
