The Redmi 4 boasts 50% more 3G talking time, almost twice the web browsing time than the Redmi Note 3, while its video score is 25% less than that of its Note sibling. Due to the nature of the GSM Arena's battery score, video playback time, usually being lesser than 3G talking and web browsing time, has more value in the final score, so the difference in mere 25% there 'weights' more mathematically that the double difference in other scores. Moreover, the usage pattern implied in this testing procedure (1 hour of calling, browsing and movies every day) is completely artificial.
For example I usually don't watch full-length movies on my phone, only a few occasional Youtube movies now and there (let's say 30 mins a day), spend about 1.5 hours talking on the phone and web browsing for another 3 hours every day. With this usage pattern Redmi 4 Prime has a 72 hours rating, sharing the 4th ever score with a couple of other phones like Huawei Mate 8, Samsung Galaxy S6 active and Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G, scoring more than Xiaomi Redmi 3 and Redmi Note 3, which scored 70 hours and 60 hours respectively.

Go Xiaomi! Best in class spec at a fraction of price, no extra paying for marketing/ambassador crap like other brands. Bang for buck. Their budget devices outclass even 4x-5x priced smartphones of other brands.
Also their rom, MIUI, have more functions than iOS+Stock+LagWiz+Cyanogen combined!

In first impression redmi4 prime fail in compare to redmi1s and redmi2..
keep in mind xiaomi has no service in reality.
They shouldn't use non removable battery if you're battery die you're phone die forever.

But samsung had alreday optimized software. For that mony no other manufacturer can beat them now. And phone can be easily unlocked.
Xiaomi will be only better as new updates come for rom. and if you put stock rom , it should amazing.
Only what is really missing for better OST would be AMOLED screen.

Zenfone 2 has 59H ranting with 3-4.5H SOT while Nexus 6P has 74H with same SOT. Now, you call Xiaomi has bad software, then tell me why Mi5 which its has Quad Core Performance SoC with 3000 mah can having 90H endurance ranting.

Don't go for this redmi prime its not goo phone lots of problams i am using last 2 monts i fedup with this automatically switch off some time sounds gone 4to 5 times hang in every day so go think i am genuine buyer

Hopefully Gsmarena will publish Lenovo P2 review soon, or at least the battery life test. Can't wait to see how the Snapdragon 625 performs energy wise with a 5100mah battery and an amoled screen.
