Amen. OnePlus 3T and Google Pixel are the best android phones as a whole for me, period! The Xiaomi Mi Mix was the most stunning device ever created and the Note 7 died like, what i would have expected from a Samsung phone deserves at most times... The Iphone 7 was nothing special once again, but will it ever?

But there have been no breakthroughs. Do you think complaining will solve the problem?

I find it surprising none of the editors stressed much on the battery technology(I know some somewhat did, but that's not enough). It's one of the fields the smartphone industry has not improved radically in many years. I still can't find phones that have an excellent battery life without having other compromises. Good cameras and better displays are fine, but what good is it if it doesn't last you enough.

Considering the pace in which smartphone technology has been moving, we should be having at least around a week of battery life in most smartphones by now. But we're rather stuck to battery life similar or worse in some cases compared to the previous generations. Also, an explosive one in one particular case. This is 2016 ffs, how does that happen?

I'm a heavy user and find it sad that non of the flagship smartphones can deliver something like 12 hrs SOT even on minimal use. I know 12 hrs SOT sounds absurd and surplus, but that's the point. We aren't used to it. The number of pixels in displays we have nowadays are mostly surplus for normal consumers, same with things like processing speed and cameras(remember when phones were used for calling?). The only aspect we can't say the same of is the battery technology, and that should be the top priority in 2017.

            I pray the smartphone gods listen to me on this one. ;-;

Pleeease , don't be naive.. android 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 is the BEST .. or even 5.0 is fine .. it doesn't stop me sending sms or calling or emailing or browsing on internet.. What else u want to do ? ANd about your warranty in EU countries (except of weird UK) there been looong loong time 2 years warranty on ANY electronic product .
U need to go complain to your grateful government u have only one year ;)

Why don't we understand that Tech in our phones these days is more or less (in flagships). It's amateurish and very less logical to compare and find a winner specially among the top makers. But what is really really really important is durability and 'future proofness'. A phone which gives updates and double warranty is what makes hell lot of sense....

I think Huawei is working to achieve that goal if I m not wrong with their P9 coming with 2 years warranty and acceptable frequency of s/w updates.

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2016Nice to see the iPhone SE was mentioned. It is my first iPh... moreYes. The iPhone 5s design is the best design from Apple. Way better than that of the iPhone 7.

Unfortunately for you tho, I heard that Apple is not planning for an 4 inch iPhone update anytime soon.

I read the comments first before reading the article and I saw people dislike Prasad for some reason.

But after I read the whole article and search for Prasad's opinion, i kinda agree with what the commenters said here.

First of all, glad to know the team behind GSMArena...So as per the team OnePlus and Mi Mix are most remarkable, Note 7 & USB Type C are most disappointed and VR won most anticipated.... nice

For me, its's Moto Z and Mi Mix, Note 7 and foldable screens respectively...

Besides, I'm eagerly waiting for performance of SOCs based on 10nm fabrication. Qualcomm is again attempting an 8 core flagship soc(SD835) based on kryo200 cores. Hope it doesn't heat up (*coughs* 810 *coughs*). Fingers crossed.

Also,if leaks are true then SD660 gonna blow the 820 to smithereens, at least in CPU department.

Nice to see the iPhone SE was mentioned. It is my first iPhone (downsized from OnePlus 2) and I love the size and build quality. I think Apple got it right with this design, size, and price point. I hope they update the internals every other year or so, but keep the same size and body design.

I tried the 6s and 6s+ and found them to be too slippery. Just not a good design.

                                op3! ftw!! b)

So much whining about USB-C! It's just a plug and USB 3 is the mess you're thinking off. It's like saying "I don't know what speed this ethernet port is, so therefor I hate ethernet cables. It doesn't make sense.

We now have a reversible USB connector, and we should all be thankful for that.

                                      Dear Prasad,

A Terminator is actively trying to kill people. The Note 7 had a defect that deemed the devices dangerous but that doesn't mean the phones were actively trying to kill people.
