Battery efficiency is excellent, wonder if the lenovo p2 will post a better result with it 5100mah, same spec, same amoled screen.

This review has it all wrong. I have owned the OP3, the MG4+, and now the MZP. The Z Play is far better than the other two for many reasons, but here are three big ones.
1) The Z Play doesn't just have slightly better batter life. It is more than twice as good as the OP3 and the G4+. Not even close. The Z Play gets 11+ hours of screen time with heavy use. The others get 4-5, variable. It's a blowout.
2) Moto Mods. Yeah people complain about the prices but you can often get them sharply reduced or even free with the purchase of the phone. I own four of them. One was free, one I got $50 off, another $100 off, and the last $25 off of it's $79 price. The Mods completely change the nature of the device. It goes from being another slick black/gray piece of hardware to a whole new tool for entertainment and enjoyment. I watch movies in bed on the ceiling with the projector, I crank up the tunes with the speaker when making breakfast over the sound of sizzling bacon, and I take the most ridiculously good zoom photos with the camera mod. My friends are all jealous and want to know more about the mods. They look at their iPhones and wonder where they went wrong.
3) Performance. Yeah I know the OP3 has an 820 but I swear there is no difference in real life use between it and the Z Play. None. If anything, the Z Play feels smoother, perhaps because of Moto's optimizations. I'm just telling you real world experience, benchmarks aside. The Z Play fingerprint sensor is 10 times as accurate and feels faster than the OP3, which I had to reprogram several times. I think my Z Play has ever misread my fingerprints unless they were wet. Moto's stock Android optimization just makes this baby hum.
In virtually every other way, the Z Play equals or exceeds the OP3 and G4+. In build quality, camera, display (OP3 is eveb worse than G4+), speakers, etc., the Z Play equals or wins.
Again, I've owned all three and had each for several months. I've had them side by side. Trust me. Go with the Z Play.

boss got this device a couple days ago, looks amazing, it's a bit big for MY taste (have an A5 2016 fits perfect) and i guess it'll take a bit to get used to the buttons but the device is really good looking, i'm waiting for my boss to get the mods to see how it goes ^_^

I wish there was a non Moto Z play version with the mods. More so the same like the Moto X play but with an updated 625 processor.

Still waiting for Le Pro 3 review. Pile of crappy phones on the battery and performance lists will go down for sure.

It's a good phone but the price is totally wrong. OP3T and Axon7 kill it in every way.
But at least they stopped using that piece of cr*p Snap 615/616/617 SoC's...thank god was about time!
