Xiaomi is inferior tech after another and only its pricing salvages the continually lackluster and unreliable service it provides. It's nothing personal. Scores of reviews you would be responsible to scour for yourself consistently rate xiaomi flagships beneath the likes of samsung and apple in virtually every comparable aspect. Even the mi mix is a disappointment overall when you look at it beyond the marvels of the pseudo-bezelless feature it touts, no matter how impressive it may have initially looked. So please comment on data and facts, not personal jealousies.

Xiaomi is a knock off brand, period. It's quality is on all points inferior to the brands it blatantly plagiarizes. Go ahead and patronize a cheap knock off and sugarcoat it as bang for buck. In the long run, you'll get what you pay for.

Try buying and importing this Mi Note 2. Plus the delivery charges and taxes. I bet it is more expensive than S7 edge thats available everywhere.

And I'm not so new owner of Xiaomi brand & very old owner of Samsung brand (S1 - S2 - Note2 - Note8.0 - Note3 - TabS 8.4 LTE)....
I own 2 of them Xiaomi, one is 2yrs old (still updated, and currently in beta Nougat official) & one is shiny new Mi5s Plus.....
The bloatware you said with so many ads is China ROM... The Global ROM is free of that.... I can assure you, the only bloat preinstalled is Google suite apps....
No ads whatsoever like in China ROM.... Unlike very heavy bloated TouchWiz....
The experience of using MIUI 8 is close to stock.... simpler than touchwiz....

How is Xiaomi when it comes to software updates and supporting a phone for many years? Not being ignorant, just curious. I've always avoided these Chinese brands because of the bad stereotype of them not getting software updates or being pre-loaded with malware.
