My hope is the physical keyboard is better than the Priv's, as Priv's is no match to the keyboards of the Bolds', neither of the old classics like 8700/8800/8300/...
The Priv's hardware keyboard, dimensions, mediocre battery life made it no deal for me. The software keyboard is great, but lacked some of the languages I need.
The recipe for success may be - width under 70 mm (2.75 in, even better 66 mm/2.60 in), physical and software keyboards up to the previous standards, decent battery, modest price.
Regarding the design - I do not object the top, but you can expect such attitude from a former owner of SE P1i, P910i, P800i, Ericsson's R380.

It will be 1080 ×1620 4.5"
Width will be equal to any 5" 1080p but length will be less.

I will prefer 12MP High end +SD625 instead of 13MP conventional+sd821. Even save 1 gig of ram (3GB rather than 4GB) But a better camera please. Take my money BB.

Should stick with the design and specially that keyboard, if not now, slowly people will also stick to it. Should make this form factor in many price and size range.

AnonD-144087, 08 Jan 2017me too...I think it is a 2:3 version of a 5" display and according to my calculations it becomes 4.45".
I am going to buy this one even if this is "blackberry overpriced",but camera should be comparable in price range, if hardware not. For example if they give 600 series chipset and 3GB RAM for 35000, (which is overpriced indeed) but camera should be equal to other 35000 phones (6p, s6, ). Best is single 12MP even if not as good as pixel or S7.

Dilmeet, 07 Jan 2017I just hope this performs well as I am in love already. Scr... moreI think blackberry has been lacking basic marketing of any of their recent phones, including the Private. I could see how the capacitive keyboard could actually get some traction with proper marketing and awareness. Being able to keep your fingers on the keyboard and be able to navigate the phone would be great. The other thing I miss are the programmable shortcut and speed dial keys. This amps up productivity on the phone that many of today's smartphone users are not aware of. Good luck Blackberry.
