my A5 doesnt recognise the OTG plug. what can be wrong with my device?

Perfect phone.
My only issue it with the 32G memory...I have exhausted 30.9G already.
With 7G exhausted out of my 8G memory card.
I'm thinking i should get a 64G or 32G memory card to support it....
What can I do?
I don't want to upgrade my phone to S8 or S9 yet.

In the end, after some web-searching, I slid in 2 small pieces of paper on top of the sim (cover of some magazine) and got constant contact again.

AnonD-292864, 14 Mar 2017Do a factory reset or go to the nearest Samsung service center.I have the same problem, my 2017 A5 keeps on showing the no sim card so I can't get any connection at all. I went to Samsung and the customer service agent tried using his own sim card and it seems like it's working so they advise me to go and change my sim card with my carrier. I was having signal only for a couple of months, then it's back again. Any update or solution so far?

The way you present some contrast ratios at infinity, does not reflect well the brightness range of various phones. In order to get more significant data in the contrast ratio column, you can set the minimum value for blacks at 0.01. This will allow you to calculate more realistic numbers for contrast ratio, which will also take into account the phone's maximum brightness. The number will then allow you to compare contrast ratios among screens that you now show to be infinity, but which have immense differences in perceived contrast and brightness by the user.

I cant stand this phone I was debating between this and the latest Sony and I chose this,I am sorry I did. I've used Sonys for the last eight or nine years and found them mostly reliable and intuitive.This phone is relatively reliable,however its GUI and navigation are horrible compared to Sonys,Its not waterproof either as someone asked.Photos are nowhere near the quality of my last Z5 regardless of pixel count.Maybe I'm biased because I liked my Z5 but for anyone else thinking of changing brands think again

Replaced my samsung note 4 with the galaxy a5.
Yes it is strong holds up to abuse but.
Slow internet even on wifi. Ads all over plug in to charge get google ads. And the phone is 4 weeks old and having problems with speakers they are weak to start off with but now they are cracking when you use external speaker. Over all save your money and get a note 8 this phone is driving me nuts as much as i hate i phone i am thinking of throwing this one out and going to iphone.
