Even a sd 625 performs as good as 821 or 820 whem it comes to real life performance. Samsung has lagwiz is is laggier than lgs ui that has been proven by xda. U should definitely go for galaxy s8. It will have new features and a better soc

Bezels are big u say? That clearly states that u dont now anything. Camera is bad? Look at the review its better amd even the wide angle is better now. Just be quiet if u dont know anything. Last year's SoC is only one
Last year's ram is actually an even worse error (ram is more important that SoC for day to day performance due to ram caching)
Also last year's camera (in some things it's actually worse than G5's)
The battery is actually a clear downgrade as you cannot cary a spare anymore and you can't top up instantly (by popping a spare). All that for 8% gains in total battery. So a downgrade.
The bezels are bigger than Note 7 and Mi Mix , all last year's phones.
So yeah, it's not just the SoC. The SoC in fact is the least of its problem. It's low ram is a worse problem, the abandonment of swappable battery is an even worse problem (say good buy to your phone once lithium cells start dying en masses as it often happen to sealed phones).
I mean LG had unique characteristics and they either threw them away or haven't developed on them. This is the worse 2017 flagship, simple as that.

Overpriced pice of aluminium ;(
Mindrage hardware with top price level, no wireless charging, no IR blaser, no FM radio, old CPU, mindrage camera, NO HiFiDAC !!! I have still G4 and I think I will change it to samething from China with SabreDAC as second phone and main I will take new S8 Dual.

It's a exlent phone when we looked into its design.but, the performance? No no
Even it it not croseed the bench marks of mi note2! Why galaxy S7 is almost a 8 mounths old but it cant touch it.
When come to camera it is good and the video is gourgeous.this time i want to upgrade my mobile with lg g6.but this phone stands me in waiting list until to watch how is the GALAXY S8😘

I have to say. The first couple sunlight photos looked great actually. I didn't even notice the over sharpening right off the bat. Like zooming into the guys face. So good focus too. Of course this is daylight but still a great looking photo.
And the first building in low light. The balance between lighting was actually great. Very pleasing.
So imagine what they could have done with flagship grade tech

That's not a 2017 flagship. It literally has not one outstanding feature. In everything it is beaten by some 2016 phones (ram by chinese phones, bezels by mi mix and soon S8, SoC by Huawei and soon S8, battery by all Xiaomi phones and last year's Samsung, heck by G5 even given that that was swappable; everybody is waterproof at this point. Software is sh*t compared to the likes of Sony Google or oneplus. Do you want more?)

G6 is a flagship for sure. you dont have one so dony judge it just coz its using an older chipset. havent u seen its review. every single review of it has positive feedback. except for its price. otherwise this phone is cool. i just hope this does not has the bootloop issue

Good Phone. But I will buy the P10 because of CPU performance and battery life.

It not make sense at all, lame phone with lame spec with lame performance with lame battery life with lame cam sensor but high price tag. No chance this phone gonna beat OP3T! Cam gonna beat MATE 9/pro, battery oh God even Sony can do it better.
