I like the Pixel inspired changes: namely the stacked image processing in camera, the customisable navigation icons & the pull-up app drawer. The new auto-focus camera is also a welcome addition.
Overall the S8/S8+ looks like a success, although the new design of the icons are not to my taste. Now begins the real countdown to Note8 (from which I expect far greater oomph :P)!

I wonder why most of the 1st readers to comment are haters. If you really hate this phone, why bother watching it so close to the extent of posting to its very first "hands on" post? Are you fulfilling the say that "haters are lovers in disguise"? do you have "love-hate" affairs with samsung? Or it just feels good for you to air your hatred? I mean, If you hate this thing, I thought you could just ignore it and move on, rather than following it that close and start saying what it doesnt have/cant do. .its a phone people. Its just a phone . . ..

Oh My GOD! the phone is so meowk, but I'm more beautiful than this phone when it comes to body and looks.
a lot of awkwardness feature for this phone.
ill rather use my SKK phone. with a feature that last a lifetime.

i can understand lg 18:9 but will never understand samsung 18.5:9 ..... why not 18:9 or they just want to be different ...... kudos for Mi Mix 17:9 and rounded corners .

Definetly getting G6 until V30 arrives in october. I expected more from S8. Why single 12mpx camera is this a joke ? Also G6 is much cheaper. The s8 camera is the biggest let down by my tastes and needs. I got v20 which makes amazing photos better than G5, G6 is even better than my v20, V30 will be better than G6. Where S8 has mainly software wise improved S7 camera which means 95% the same photo and video output. Lol brilliant idea.

Frankly speaking, I'm a little bit disappointed. I was set on getting it, but it essentially has the same ballpark for performance as the S7, same battery (bigger screen) and same camera. Well, basically nothing changed but shaving off bezels. The S7 and S7 Edge are a great buy now.
