This is the first sammy phone that i'd like to buy, there is just so much win in the display and more importantly, the Dex feature.. Continuum by microsoft failed because it could not do the very basic thing people want to do in the desktop and that is multi tasking and split window and the dex managed to nailed that just fine (shame on windows)
So many of you guys nitpicked so much about the camera and some gimmicks feature from the other, but overall i think this has to be the best smartphone (for now)

Android continuum version (DeX) = Lumia 950
Siri version (Bixby) = iPhone 7
LG screen like (Infinity Display) = LG G6
The thing is, based on your comment, people literally have to buy THREE different phones to have all those features. (Lumia 950, iPhone 7, LG G6)
The Galaxy S8 have ALL those feature in a SINGLE device. A complete package if you ask me.

Camera quality is almost same. Battery life will be almost same. Screen quality is almost same. I'm never going to use Bixby anyway. 5.8" is just a longer version of s7 display. Colors etc etc are also mostly same. (admittedly which a all excellent on s7). Don't think sound will be significantly better. Except those bezels and a new processor, nothing is exciting, specifically when the most important benefit of processor is improved battery life, and u take no benefit at all.

After seeing Samsung Newsroom's videos makes me really want the Galaxy S8.
I like the beometric authentication, the instant access face recognition is really fast, and it's really good for fingerprint alternative. Just hold the home button and ta-dah it's unlocking device quickly

Someone Else, 30 Mar 2017Are we going to ignore the fact that the Galaxy S8 have Bix... moreLike what I said before "Sammy offer an android continuum version, Sammy Siri version and LG screen like". the only standout for me is Bluetooth 5.0 that support 2 headphone but I prefer wired headphone so ehem. hopefully they make something standout, the design is already beautiful but I felt LG wow us already and left Sammy copying other with S8

why is everyone raving on about security and viewing angles? when do you ever look at your phone at and angle? and all of a sudden has everyones fingerprints become available to everyone else around them to unlock their phones? im pretty sure the Z2 had facial recognition anyway so its nothing spectacularly ground breaking..... and i also still stand by the edge being a gimmick, it doesnt help in you use the phone any more effeciently then a flat screen. and unless you want to see the blackheads on your face making slightly bettter cameras isnt a big thing nowadays. and Bixby? ok its cool, but siri can do most things bixby can do, i asked it to call 'natalie' yesterday, and it responded 'natalie oz or natalie ireland?' and you can already do what youre doing on your iphone straight onto you mac for about 2 years now without the dock, so thats nothing new either. and dont go on about ram and SD because my iphone 7 is just as fast as i need it to be. Why would you buy a new phone so you can launch facebook a nano second faster then on your s7? face it, smart phones have plateued, now all fan boys are grasping at straws.

Even though all features on the S8 are "been there, done that", it's great to have em all combined in the same smartphone.

Rounded edges and a weird 18.5:9 ratio makes the screen look smaller! Fingerprint scanner is far more convenient/usable the an iris scanner! 1 gigabit LTE is pointless because not available in most countries, and restricted/limited data is the big problem, not the already fast enough, 32 Mbit/s, 3G!
UFS and fast charging, wired or not, is good!

I will not buy this because I do not like rounded edges on the screen because they makes the usable screen smaller, flat screens have no glare!
The fingerprint scanner next to, not below, the camera will make the camera lens smugded making every photo bad!
The 18.5:9 aspect ratio makes the screen look weird/ugly!

Look cool on the outside, another useless Bixby assistant (look at the crap S voice) when we already have Google assistant. Good luck on Android O update too!
