Oh my god !! Battery test only 2300 mah capacity n get 73 hours my goodness.... Wow thats awesome.... Where is haters !! Show battery test....and about performance...Of course its better n smooth experience..... I saw geek benchmark is 800 up (single core) 3700 up (multi core)..

And using one is fast and fluid with 3 gig ram and 720p screen,which looks fine to me at 5 inches. People expect too much for mid range or budget phones these days. I'm OK with the "brick design. But what's the point of selling this phone? Hah? totally imbalanced one. A camera from Z5. .. Good. a processor no one gives sh**. If only camera is the reason, I'd buy a Z5c. Looks more brick, but more classy.
The remaining specs are crap. All of my friends who bought phones in last one year have redmi note 3 (10000 rs. Sd652+3gb +32gb) redmi note 4 (13000 rs. Sd625+4gb+64gb), or a oneplus 3T (30000Rs. Sd821 +6gb +64gb) . And this, likely 25000 +. Yes, camera on these phones isn't as good, but that does not mean price should be three times the phone with same specs and a bad camera.
All I want to say is that Sony should stop competing in midrange segment coz this segment is highly price sensitive.
Simply make the excellent and most top tier phone and stop cutting corners in it. Ask for $900 but throw 2gb more ram, and improve on the long lasting weaknesses like bad image processing and Louder and clearer sound.

You serious? F1.7 is already causing Samsung phones to have the tendency of paler colors, only lit by oversaturation.
I'd even take F1.8 but larger sensor and about 16mp resolution for that
Right now the XZs and XZ Premium are very close to that, but alot are still to be desired

Still able to see grass/sky-noise. Would rather go for blurry shot without that. Well, grass wont be back, it was destroyed too much. Good thing they went for 19Mp. Now if only added f1.6 .

I want this phone.But I had the Galaxy A5 2017 (more expensive than Xperia XA1) because I want fingerprint scanner and water resistant body.I wish the Xperia XA2 might have 4K video capability camera,fingerprint scanner (maybe,but if the fingerprint scanner on the side,it will have side bezels) and water resistant body (Xperia M5 has 4K video and water resistance body).I should buy the Xperia Z5(because all I need is in it) over the Galaxy A5 2017,but it's too late :(

Many aspects of the XA1 don't really sound inspiring, but then again it's a decidedly mid-range smartphone.
You gotta love Sony's multimedia package (Album, Music, Video & FM Radio). Good camera too. After years of complaining about Sony's poor camera software, they have finally acted on the feedback and results are there for all to see.
Now, I just hope GSMA will also act on our feedback, and give us the older-style full screen image viewer for a proper viewing pleasure.
