Anonymous, 02 Jun 2017Lol. You must not have ever actually compared the audio. Es... moreNevermind that the audio is better on the U11, would appear that the U11 is faster than the Samsung Exynos version of the S8 as well, according to: youtu.be/CaqJ8VDD9LQ
Maybe this is because the guy's S8 has UFS 2.0 and not 2.1 like U11. Or maybe the U11 is faster due to better software and better ram management. Who knows...but from what I can see, U11 is faster than S8 Exynos.
So U11: better camera, better audio, faster, cheaper.
S8: smaller bezel when virtual bezels in apps not taken into consideration.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2017Sorry. Results and logic speak for themselves so noPeople who say that S8 camera somehow has more detail are ignorant sheeps!
That is actually the software sharpening the sensor output - which you can easily do in post processing for the image. HTC by not oversharpening the images preserves a lot of color and luminanscence information near the edges of the objects which give a huge depth to which you can edit the images.
I suggest you import images from the s8 and the U11 into snapseed and play around with the saturation, sharpness, ambiance and contrast slider..... You will easily notice that s8 image degrade much faster than U11 which has a lot more info.

DXoMark gives U11 score 90, and this time they're not lying.

Ok, I had Z, Z1,Z2, Z3 (best Xperia ever), Z5 and now ZX ... So as you can see I'm the fanboy of Sony. I love their light android version, never lagged, never had any issues, brilliant phones but ... But handheld in low light is NIGHTMARE... I was many times comparing to friends Samsungs or LGs ... I agree that in daylight by small details Xperia's pics are better but... this difference isnt huge... Definitely Sony is suffering for night time... Even sunset time is bad... I'm not having tripod with me 24/7 and majority of my phone pics are night pics... Difference at daytime with ZXP is marginal comparing to S8/U11, so I don't care so much, but difference at evening/night time is TREMENDOUS... And even if I will have tripod, it's hard to get good angle and view with pocket tripod... This time I'm changing to U11 for camera, because I don't like this Samsung algorithm under 1/4s. In addition I will get stereo speakers (Samsung, WHY?!), only one disadvantage for me is lack of jack, but this adapter should be enough... or there are micro-usb headphones for phones?
