"u know if SE release P series with 5 megapixel camera it will surely beat any Nokia phone"
if P series came out with 5 MP, so? it could only use sony's own programs which created in low resolution. what if loaded in high graphics interface? o.0 CPU could still support but will have more loading time then nokia's phone. look at their talk time, if the CPU could support, Wifi G will be in sony's phone by now. -_-
even laptops couldn't stand long if having a great specs in it.
Think Think Think then write:D

Well, so many hard fans from both sides...
I alwais had SE and Nokia phones since i remember and i'm not a one brand fan. Perhaps a open mind would be god in many people...
Actually i have K800i and N95. E, ven the SE is better product in some itens. What's the big problem? The Cybershot menu is better (easy to use, everything in the right place, userfriendly, better photoeditor than N95,...). The keybord presents better use (writing in N95 is a fingers sacrifice...) The N95 sliding sistem not very reliable...However, Video in K800i is a joke. But, who excpects quality in mobile video recording?
But the N95 is a higher mediacenter machine, d'ont be mistaken. And i d'ont know if the K850i can beat it. I sincerely doubt it. Very good performance, magnificent display colors (why the hell SE K850i will have only less then 300000 colors? Please!..). The N95 MP3' s very good, it's not ashamed by W SE series, believe it. In my opinion, the quality difference is blutooht SE headphones...
The SE menu icons are boooring, that's a fact. The GPS function is very good with some minor upgrades (yes, N95 is a "open sistem"...will K850i be? the K800i isn't for sure!!). I have Garmin Nuvi 360 T in my car (Navteq maps) and european Teleatlas in N95. the N95 is slower, of course, but never failled me and identifies exactly the same roads...it's not an advantage?
And i believe the natural N95 natural opponent's SE W960i. The camera is 3MP? SE fail...markting rules this days...
Sorry "Lord of the rings" text... (never ends)
Sorry

and and one thing, during camera mode, Nokia offers you a smooth viewing(just like those normal digital camera) when moving camera facing from place to place due to the faster processor. but as for sony, non of it offers us that eh -__-

you are a Photography Degree Student? a photography degree people would be chose cameras like SLR or something else close with that rather then a k850i which don't have any optical zoom. and again, as a photographer, what you need is a good camera not a GOOD design to take a GOOD pictures eh? what a joke.. please talk with more common sense^^

I'm a Photography Degree Student, AND a Nokia Employee... The Sony Cybershot handsets are pretty amazing as cameras to be fair, I would even consider producing professional Photography using the K850... I have the N95 myself and it takes good pictures, but it isn't sensational. I think a big point has been missed though: the Nokia Handset does offer so much more in terms of functionality. The Sony product has certain drawbacks for me (esp. the overall Design of the handset - BORING).

Very very good comparation. Just a question: is it possible to know what was the firmware version of the N95 during the test ? There are people saying that with the last firmware ( rev.12 if I remember well) the camera is performing better with the ISO level.

Well...comparing both pictures...i believe that SONY producing ACTUAL LIFE LIKE images....i mean colores are just like we see from eye while Nokia colors have much more contrast be it high contrast on Red color or Green leaves etc....for few people and children high contrast images may be good but they are not actually satisfying....everyone can have their own views like GSMARena say that high contrast images look good but in a good picture there must be a COMBINATION of Real Life Colors + Details.....Don't compare N95 v/s K850i as N95 is a smart phone....compare photography....I will select Real Life Color+Details over high saturated colors...it's up to you whatever you prefer....One thing i like in 850i is that it has MOTION SENSER...let's say if you want to play a game on it then you don't have to use Keys...just do it like you do it on Wii...move your phone right or left wherever and the phone will sense and the game will run accordingly..Anyway....I have told you my choice...still if you ask for N95 then I'll prefer newly launched HTC or HP which has more possibilities than N95.

I see everybody going gaga over the n95 photo skills, but let me remind u guys that the review clearly say that the se is a pre-release version with not the final firmware.I will be really convinced when they compare with a production version se...dont get me wrong guys,i am not a se fan, been using nokia since i can remember.i didnt buy the n95 becoz of the poor battery life(learnt my lesson from my now discarded n80),bought the e90 instead and am very happy with it.....but in my opinion i hav to admit that nokia phones produces images that r too vivid with not real life colours(experiences from my old n73).Hope nokia resolve this and most importantly the battery life in the n95 8gb,then wil definitely buy it.

almost forgot the nokia interface in the n95 isnt really theres its the symbian operating system. SE has one with that OS as well. And yes the SE OS does get upgraded. Even the menu for the camera was upgraded on the 850. From all the posts the nokia users are all underaged infantile posters. If you need me to translate the big words i can.
