For example the imx300 of Z5 has 7.87mm and the one inside Pixel has 7.83mm

The new Nokia has to start from scratch, so the ol' good tech from PureView series has to be developed again or bought from MS.

Animal, 17 Aug 2017What special are you talking about? can you smash your s8 ... morelol.. no, you can't. It might have a bit stronger chassis at best,but it nothing on it is shatterproof nor it has airbags, so no you can't. It shatters just like any other phone.

Excelent ozo audio... with three directional microphones... Sure will score excelent marks in sound clarity compared to creepy mono (!) (iPhone(yes)) and low-bitrate , low quality stereo sounds of others

LG V30 will probably have a far better camera, including far better sound recording, while everything else also is better on LG V30!

The bottom bezel is atleast not just waste of space, as they are on Sony phones, because there is the fingerprint sensor and capacitive buttons leaving the screen free!
Nokia used to be made by Nokia, not by Foxcon!

Little clarification is appropriate. Did Nokia or HMD write camera app? If it was Nokia, then it's going to be interesting.

How big is sensor size ? Why not like in old photo Nokia 808, 1020 ? It makes better photos then Lumia 950 ? If this phone cant make better/same pictures then Lumia 950, S7/8, Lg G5/6 why is anyone interested in ? Snapdragon 835, 4GB ? Each phone at this price has the same parameters what special has Nokia ? And rly 151mm and 5,3 inches, only 69%..Weaker then Sony :D

Welcome Nokia ... its flagship for now but offcourse the level of next flagship the ip rating the screen etc is gonna b better .. just dnt slow down Nokia be fast in bringing new phones ,ur slowness in working with the changing times cost u big time in past ..

i like nokia but hope their software tough.Because i use nokia x3-02 when download music in internet suddenly corrupt.It is old stories.Hope this nokia now tough software.If though software, maybe in future i will buy this product.

So that is the reason why they are not selling the Nokia 8 to USA, China and posibly Corea and Japan... Maybe they are preparing the ULTIMATE phone with the Nokia 9 with all the good features, SD 836, 8 gigs of RAM, 128 GB Storage and a high price for it.
