I have changed an OP3T for this beast and I am not sorry at all. It goes very fast, the battery is inexhaustible, it has IR for my TV and my AA, it has a radio, a big screen like I wanted, microsd, record calls natively, shop for themes, sounds and free funds and I love MIUI

Should I replace my p9lite with mi max 2 or wait for better alternatives because the resolution and camera according to performance, which I think won't vary significantly from my current one?

actually in my video loop test the mi max 2 lasted for a phenomenal 23 hours and 37 minutes

Awesome phone,I love it,great battery,build,design,speed,better than mi max 1 I think and I had mi max 1 for over a year(Loved my mi max 1 so much )

If make a comparison between Mi Max 2 and Redmi Note 4 about battery efficiency (both specs are not so much different except for battery capacity, display and body size and also the camera megapixel) what can I say the latter is much better than the former. Go look at GSMArena battery test and make a comparison on the result.

Hello, i bought this phone 5 days ago and i can tell that it is fluid, smooth, and battery is really really powerful. No1 thing in this phone is battery. For this price, you cannot find 6.44 inch with full hd resolution. Black color is just awesome. I think that Xiaomi make great phones that will last 2-3 years as other companies like Samsung, LG, etc. So i recommend this. For less money you get more power and display. And SD processor is just fine no lag at all for now.

Only in battery life due to the 14nm process.
The two/four a72 cores makes a significant difference in browsing and other bursty loads. Even the RAM is better in the 650/52 with dual channel ram at 933 MHz while the 625 has a single channel module that is slower as well.
I haven't come across a single game which plays better in the 625. I have a Note 3 pro and a Samsung c5 pro for comparison. Even the Helios X20 in my wifes meizu mx6 plays games at high setting better than the 625/626.

as compared with mi mix it was some what updated in some areas. lovely thing is xiaomi mi mix series are some what good popularity as compared with other series.

I have always asked for a 6"+ iPhone and this looks like a carbon copy. Too bad the internal are crappy

While sd650 may be more powerful than the sd625 , the later being a newer and more efficient processor can pretty much hold it's own such that you would barely notice the difference in real life usage. The adreno 506 even outperforms the adreno 510 in some ppsspp games like god of war

Some specs are cheap, but its quite interesting to have more slim phone than XA1 ultra and have 2 times battery size. Is it me or is it real?

With a battery north of 4000 MAH, battery life was never a concern with the original max and neither should it be of concern in the Max 2. A couple of hours more of battery life in lieu of 2 times the graphics and CPU performance. IS that a worthwhile tradeoff?
It is evidently a cost based decision to use a lower range chipset and nothing else. The whole USP of the Note and Max series was performance, big screen and durability at a great price.
Theyve gone backwards. Never underestimate the importance of a good chipset in terms of the overall usability of the phone. I would take a SD 660 + 3 GB RAM over an SD 625 with even 6 GB RAM if given a choice. It does make a difference.

Im just waiting for LG V 30.. i lost my trust in samsung note8.. i dont like the samsung design.. maybe this will be my next phone.. looks nice in actual unit.

Awesome phone. Have it for almost a month and it is worth the price. Love the battery life, performance without lagging and heating unlike others. Playing Mobile Legends (10 - 15 games per day), NBA 2k17 (Career mode 3 - 5 games per day), FB messenger call and even watching a couple of movies in Netflix before battery drains. Camera is also awesome (just turn the HDR = ON always).
