Samsung at IFA 2017: Gear Sport, Fit2 Pro, IconX (2018) hands-on review

Samsung has already unveiled the Galaxy Note8 just a week prior to the IFA in Berlin. It did even spill the beans, accidentally or not, on the Gear Fit2 band. So, what was left for the actual expo then? The Gear Sport, of course, the next-gen cord-free fitness earbuds - Gear IconX (2018), and some additional information for the previously obscure Gear Fit2 Pro.

          Kinda miss 11+ sensor like watch, with lte and great battery. Auto recognizing of activity is interesting though. Well, apple may still win me with their lte. Now if it was possible to charge them over air. Still not finished product.

            Manufacturers keep obsessively making smartphones thinner (at the expense of battery life) to the point where it makes no more sense as it becomes difficult to even pick them off the table; yet smartwatches continue to remain clunky, gigantic eyesores on our wrists. And they wonder why the smartwatch industry hasn't taken off....

              I like the overall design of the Gear Fit2/ Fit2 Pro. It looks like a 'real' smartwatch rather than a regular watch design on the Gear Sport.
