What a fantastic all in one device.Lovely wide screen for browsing, with a easy to use Qwerty key board in such a relevently small device. Push email is available through the download section of the menu in the shape of Blackberry v 4.0. A free download.
Im really not sure I understand peoples complaints with battery life. I get 2-3 days out of the E90 and a question in relation to battery, does anyone use their device when they are sleeping?? No of course not so just put it on charge.

What about fax capability of this phone? I need fax for my job. I'm currently using 9300 just because of this. What about E90? Supports fax or not?

yeah it is expensive, and it is bigger but its BETTER.
heck if you have used phones like the Nokia N91, i dont think u'll crib once you have this one either.
Its got everything u need in a gadget..what more could I ask for..maybe i'll get to know with the next communicator..heh heh. :)

I think the review failed to discover what a step back is E0 comapred to 9300i, software-wise. E90 is a marvel from the hardware point of view, but the software is years behind. You could check the official Nokia forum to see what kind of problems are described there: http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/discussions/board?board.id=communicators

                  STUPID FONE

950 US $ are too much better to go for HTC or SE P1i (thats for 500-550$)

Well,Andy what they said to you is a generic phrase they gave to user complaining to them or making suggestions.
So even if they knew that their smartphones have troubles with battery life and other features, they are owning over 60 % of the smartphones market.
This mean that despites these troubles their smartphones are the most popular on the market.
Regarding the size of some of their smartphones,i personnaly think that it is fair considering the technology packed in it.
I myself prefer bulky smartphones over smaller one.

Do you really know why does battery for nokia symbian phones drys out so quickly like laptops? the processor of the E90 is much faster then any sony phone. eh. even n76 is loaded more faster cpu then any of the sony's one -_-.

imagine if a normal sony phones loaded with nokia's os.. gosh, it will be dead :/

If your smart you will buy it from somewhere for half the asking price especially here in Australia, it retails at $1499 AUD, but i got mine from Hong Kong and only paid $800 AUD shipped to my door step brand new and unlocked and works with any network in Australia, the phone by far is the best from nokia and perhaps the best phone on the market, size for me doesnt matter but its abilities, and this phone has a whole lot of useful and smart functions, this phone is my everything that i need in my busy life style and so far hasnt let me down in anyway using HSDPA or just 3G or anything else the power remains for a good 4 days which is so cool!! stuff buying phones that are just for looks buy something that is useful and functions as its suppose to, looks arent everything, keep up the great work nokia im a big fan and wouldnt use any other brand!!

What a stupid argument. They release these phones because there is market for it. I've been using communicators for six years (9210, 9500), and I like them. They're not the small type of 'I just want to make calls' phones, that's true. But there are plenty of them. Go and buy one.

This one is for those who want to have a full fledged communication device in their pocket. For e-mail, for SMS (forget T9...), for the web. I, for one, usually put articles on the phone and then read them whenever I have time. While commuting, if I have to queue up somewhere, waiting for someone being late, etc. A lot smaller than a book and a lot more environmental frendly than printing out stuff from the web :).

I also use the spread sheet (for tracking expenses, sometimes), SSH to connect to my desktop just in case I need it. It may be not for you, but there are a few people who love qwerty phones. Now that I'm leaving Nokia (yes, I used to work for them) I'm not going to have a communicator anymore. Because yes, it's damn expensive, Symbian is a wicked OS (terrible programming model, you can't install software that does meaningful things even onto _your own_ phone without being signed by Nokia, etc). Still, the other qwerty phones with their 320x240 displays are just not there :( and Symbian is quite nice from the users' point of view. Also python and OpenC gives some hope.

Why? do Nokia keep releasing these larger size mobiles because you end up paying to much for them an people want mobiles that fit easily in your pockets an will not bulge out,o.k they might be handy for emailing an communicating for office people but they have there pcs or laptops in there office already ,if i was Nokia i would stop releasing these handsets now as consider improving it Battery lifes on its mobiles now as there getting worse at this now days an upsetting people by doing this
