The A8 price is on par with todays S8 prices. I cannot see one reason to buy A8.

I'll take S8 as it feels nice in my hand and it weights less than this, atleast now I'm sure I'll not consider buying this new A8.

Looks very nice and performs well for amid range phone. Might upgrade from the current a5 2016 to this model, all dependant on price. The only drawbacks I found with the a5 2016 was 16gb internal storage and though not a slow phone, would of nice to have been faster

The smartphone is beautiful and with very cool functionalities, but the absence of OIS is a big error from Sammy. I was thinking to buy this smartphone, but changed of idea.

Tell me another mid-range phone that has OIS and Wireless-Charging. Sony Xperia XA1 Plus doesn't have it, Huawei Mate 10 Lite doesn't have it. Phones from mid-range Xiaomi phones doesn't have it either. Not to mention wireless-charging is a gimmick. You can't charge your phone while using it. I am going to sell my S7 and buy this when it is released in where i live.

I'll consider S7, S8 or maybe more expensive S9 or I'll go other brand. It's like Aprills fool but oh wait its december.

Phone design is mostly absent as it looks rather bad - even if you compare it to phones released between 2013 and 2015.
And specs and performance wise, well, let's just say this phone should be in the $200-$250 range.
For $500 you can get an iPhone 7/8 which tops this phone in all aspects. (tops even the S8/S8+ for that matter)

The present price of S8 is 530 USD. So, 500 euro or 500 USD for A8 is rumors that I think. Maybe it's retail price would be great about 400-430 US Dollar. Otherwise A8 must be fail to get customer.
