Sony Xperia XA2 review

Sony may be looking beyond smartphones but the Xperia line is still standing its ground. The recently unveiled Xperia XA2 series is not only a statement of persistence, but also shows intent for expansion. And the Xperia XA2 bodes well for Sony's new generation of smartphones this season.

The screen of the s7 is low range, the color accuracy of xa2 is skewed, it has 3 image modes and has only analyzed one, xa2 display have more quality than that of the s7.

Sound is fine, look at it gsmarena's own review. My battery life ranges from 7-9 hrs SOT. Compared to the XA2, it's probably worse in battery life, but that's strictly because of the mediocre SOC that the XA2 has. The 8890 (a 2 year old soc!) still outperforms it by almost 50%. It even doubles the SD630 in AnTuTu. The camera on the XA2 isn't even in the league of the S7. The screen is OLED and it's way more colour accurate as well. Android Oreo is coming within the next month, and might even get P if Samsung sticks to their 3 update policy. You have to be the most delusional fanboy to go for the XA2 if you can get the S7 for the same price. I personally got mine for $200.

                          Stronger SoC also gives out more from the same camera and sound tech.
                          Its just a matter of what one prefers over the other.
                          This will most probably get the future android release, X Perf I hope update to Oreo 8.1 (hope so, as it seems Oreo 8.0 is worse on battery than 8.1 on any device, had 7.5 hr SoT with 7, now 6.5 hr SoT with 8, there are discussions about 8.1 rectifying that)

                            Other two is by my guess 4.4 mm jack ( and dedicated DAC probably), and inbuilt screen fp sensor jdi just developed.

                                    XA2 has 4k video, way bigger battery, bigger and newer screen ( probably same of XZs). Will have longer support.

                                      Other cheaper phones do not have that quality of screen or camera, or bluetooth 5.0, or nfc, or cast, or camera, or fluency etc

                                        Dedicated camera button is nice, I usually half press hold to focus on the object then pan for framing layout and press finish the camera button to release shutter, it really capture what I want. Qnovo battery charging technology prolong the battery lifespan it is wonderful you no need to worry the battery degradation
