    Hello GSM!

Thanks fot that Amazing test! ive been waiting for somthing like this for a long time...

Though, i have some qestions and requests about the the test...

Im talking about the loudness test, in the Pink noise/ Music, that represents the speakerphones loudness in Mp3 Music. (isnt it? =P)

How could it be, that the Nokia 6233, the loudest phone ever created, got only 69.5 ?!
And how could it be, that the N95 8GB, that is a little bit louder than the N96, have so much less DB than the N96?

Did you measure the phones loudness with MAX Equalizer?
Did you measure the phones loudness with MAX Volume?

    And, GSM Team,
Can you test the Omnia HD and the N73 speakers too?

    Thanks for all!
    The Site is Just AMAZING!

    p.s
im very sorry about bad grammer, i speak diffrent langugage in real life...

In the test the w980 is louder than w995.
      How is that possible?
W995 has 2 very large stereo speakers and w980 has 2 tiny stereo speakers..

      I am confused...
Someone, anyone please reply...I really need to know why the test results are these.

      Thannk you

Can you include SAR levels for these phones from now on? CNET does it, and it's a good idea to include these values in your product summaries. It will be well suited for the health-minded readers. Cause I would certainly like to know if that new phone I'm looking at, has a great camera, wifi, and won't bombard me with radiation in the process.

If anyone wants to know what SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) is, it's simply a measure of the radio frequency energy (radiation) that is absorbed by the body. Cellphones must have an SAR value below 1.6 W/kg to pass the FCC. See http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phone-radiation-levels/ for more details.

User, 29 Mar 2009Samsung M3200 beat is the loudest handset when it comes to ... moreAnd also - M3200 compared to D900i, is a way louder, {m3200 and d900i volume to the max and You're hearing only m3200} and audio quality of beat with the same song and equalizer is excellent, while in d900 only acceptable {d900 has few equalizer settings and an average mono speaker}.
              A lot od equalizer setting are usefull while connecting the mobile to other devices {hi-fi stereo or Pc jack 3,5" speakers or headphones}

Samsung M3200 beat is the loudest handset when it comes to playng music.
I've already compared it with nokia 6233 and the results are:
Nearly identical loudness {with the same music},on different music few songs were louder on Nokia, few on Samsung.
Nokia qualizer set to max, Samsung's equalizer rock/wide. While Samsung was set to "rock" eq, the audio qualiy was surely better then 6233's.
I haven't compared it yet with w595 or w890, but i tested and compared M3200 with w910 and w880. Both SE were beaten by Samsung Beat and IMO
w910 is surely loud {especially when it comes to ringing} but audio quality is annoying and a lot worse then samsung, and w880 is quiet on the speaker, with the audio quality even worse then w910.

                    Attention to GSMArena:
According to the speakerphone loudness test, the Samsung i780 score as 'Excellent' but in the i780 review it score 'Below average' (See 'Design and construction'). The dB levels also differ. Please advise which is the correct score. Thanks.

Your speakerphone loudness and sound quality tests/comparisons are a great help. Except that you seem not to have tested the SE Eperia X1. I am interested in comparing the X1, Omnia and Touch HD as regards sound quality, and particularly LOUDNESS.
                            Please advise. TKS
