The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra upgrades the mainstream XA2 with a huge screen and a whole bunch of selfie-taking goodies such as a high-end dual-selfie rig, OIS, autofocus, and a front-facing flash.

You said it yourself in rev, if you want detail turn the preset soft skin mode off.
But, Not a word on selfies quality with soft skin off?!

I too have a softskin mode preset on my selfie 13 mpx snapper, I turned it off once, the detail was just too much for me.

So please, dont make up circumstantial cons, especially about a 16 mpx OIS one.
If you not like softskin lack of detail, turn it off and comment on detail level.

        Another useless POS. And not just by Sony. You just can't buy a decent phone nowadays. Especially if you're a music lover. Either it has poor audio quality&volume or it lacks 3.5mm jack.

                Oh, so if someone wanted to plug in their higher-end headphones that basically require an amplifier, it would be a horrible thing to do with this phone. Nice stuff, Sony. :-D

                  Inline of want this.
                  I want a stupidly large screen, and the back camera is decent. So... I see what its price is in dodgy grey market sites.

                    Impressed until seeing the selfie shots...using the XA Ultra and it suffers the same problem, surely someone in the software department can make better use of the hardware?

                      Turn off soft skin mode and test again.
                      Even Z3 takes better selfies than iphone x.
