2 well the bezels have shrunk, so there's that. If you need 18:9, there's a 7 plus.
3 partly agree. But seriously which phone has OLED in this price with these specs?
4 they're recreating same phone from matrix, not making a new one from space age...

Nokia 7 plus is hands down the best of three full blown Androids announced by Nokia. Nokia 8 Sirocco edition is what Nokia 8 should have been from the day one. For the price they are offering Nokia 8 Sirocco, €749 it is the best crafted phone out there.

1. Pricing for all models Nokia 6 and above is a total disaster for Asian markets, especially when Nokia wants to take Samsung and other Chinese brands heads-on. Nokia 6 especially would lose out on several customers given the sudden bump in pricing compared to existing Nokia 6.
2. A miss to 18:9 aspect ratio in mid-range is disappointing.
3. No OLED screen for Nokia 7+??? (Especially when Nokia says it understands that most people spend more than 5 hours on their mobile screens which adds so much strain on the eyes on a LCD display)
4. Nokia 8110 is technically cool but in no ways as futuristic in looks as the then-original handset. Just looks like an existing Nokia feature phone bent by heating the body lol. Jokes apart, the looks are really boring. In no way space-age like the original Nokias used to be.
The event was cool for a Nokia comeback but this is no 1995, so given the Chinese advent of cheap but sophisticated phones, the event was a practical disappointment. Period.

Well leaks pretty much revealed everything. Phones are ok but all the plus and scirocco names are going to confuse customers. Disappointing that they didn't bring the Nokia 7 globally. For a S835, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is overpriced. I wonder what price they would put on their new flagship. I just hope they don't start overpricing their products like everyone else.
