Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 AI Dual Camera review

14 June 2018
Looking at the title of the review, we can't help but think a quick explanation is in order. Namely, one clearing up which product we are reviewing. We've seen horrible naming conventions in the smartphone realm time and time again, but as far as sheer complexity and confusion of choice goes, Xiaomi arguably takes the cake with the current Redmi generation.

92h for 4000mAh is disappointing. A8 with 5.6" and 3000mAh also scores 92h. A8+ would probably score more. There was no review here.
XA2 Ultra with bigger screen and less battery (3580) scored 100h.

wow that battery life looks impressive.
I'm planning to buy the mate10 as my secondary phone because of the huge battery, unfortunately the battery life of the mate 10 is just average according to many reviewers. I think I'm just going to buy this phone and save some money.

      The perfect budget phone... Period
      Thanks, Xiaomi.

        Such a wonderful device ❤
I wish lits oudspeaker would be more louder like Mi A1

"... the supplied charger is not among the fastest"
It's 5V 2A. Actually, would any 5V2A charger perform identically?

            Hmm....
I wonder why this one has a good audio quality in video recording.
My Redmi 5 Plus has messy noise cancellation algorithm, with compression artifacts all over the place and gets in the way of an otherwise a good quality microphone.
