According to the review:... moreI agree...I understand there may be different reviewers than most (considering the obvious spelling errors in this one compared to others) but GSMArena should make an outline that scores the phones a little more or less the same across the board no matter who is reviewing it so that it achieves consistency. Otherwise, I don't really trust this review. This should be a 3-star phone at least with the negatives on the cameras, lack of SD card, lack of stereo speaker, and terrible fingerprint reader.

Asia is a big market enough to make money for Vivo. Also, NEX A is more widely available than NEX S if that is your complain. This phone is one of a kind so its only logical to keep pushing it to let more people know this kind of phone exist. But no one is pushing you to buy it so dont need to be so annoyed about it.

            Agreed, not impressed.

              This is a Chinese phone for their own market, plus some Asian countries, Russia and India. VIVO phones are not marketed in nor even designed for the USA. Their own website doesn't even list the USA. Most LTE bands that United States Cellular carriers are not supported. Many models will not work on T-Mobile. When then do work, they do so only at older and slower 3G or 2G speeds. On Amazon, the ViVO NEX S is only sold by a couple of third parties sellers at inflated prices. I do not understand why GSMArena keeps reporting on (pushing) this brand.

                  I appreciate mobile phone designers and manufacturers wanting to have (almost) bezel-less phones, but honestly, it's becoming more and more difficult to use phones without our hands obstructing the view of the screen. It's time we become less addicted to bezel-less phones, and demand for longer battery life and longer OS support.

                            impressive but i wouldn't buy it. camera popping up every time i wanna unlock my phone? not for me.

                              Guys, opening the Telegram app is causing the front camera to open up..... This is causing people to freak out.

                              I think this phone will expose far many such vulnerabilities in apps. :D Now, we will probably know when the front camera is being accessed.

                                    The patent holder is apple, who essentially patented a use of (Samsung/LG technology) OLED displays and folding it at the bottom..

                                    It's very easy to accomplish a bezel-less bottom of the phone, but not without patent infringement.

                                        Nothing about call quality? I know this section isn't covered by GSMArena's reviews, but in this case I think it would have been more important.
