BlackBerry KEY2 review

10 July 2018
BlackBerry is well into its second comeback year and it has been getting plenty of attention. The Canadian company’s KEY2 is a well-refined successor to the KEYOne. It brings a new dual-camera system, which is a first for any BlackBerry. Along with this, an updated CPU, increased RAM, and a new keyboard with improved tactile movement and feedback.

I really don't see anything wrong with the low light and selfie photos. I can see what the image is and the hair looks defined. Sure its not the best, but I don't see why I would need a second phone for selfies. I hate when professionals exaggerate things like that, making it seem to the consumer like the product is worse than it actually is.

and when it comes to typing feel i can't believe any VKB can be rival for PKB!
overall i do like it's design but i didn't like the camera!

There is nothing really game changing that you can do on this phone and not on a cheaper 300-400 euro device. Its got mediocore hardware that will slow down in time after you put load on it month after month. Much stronger chipsets do so this will be no different.
It has a small not so bright screen. Ok, this saves you battery. So you spend 12 hours a day looking at this tiny screen to save some battery? All better devices make up for this with fast charge anyway. In 10 minutes you make up for it. Serious business people do sensitive work on laptops and not on the go so please stop the 'get shit done' speech like all other phones dont have email clients and word, excel, powerpoint..
It has a ok camera and a keyboard thats good after you train for weeks to get to the level of typing you are right now on a virtual one. There are milions of shortcuts that save you like 20 seconds a day...who buys a phone because of shortcuts? Really?
When the lumia 930 came out it was a stupid device with windows thats ugly but now a chinese company took the same design and put a Blackberry logo on it and now its super smooth and business alike.
I cant imagine what the phone will look like when the keys get worn off and dirty which cannot happen on a virtual one.
For the security. The same companies that spied on us since forever are now releasing security updates and talk all about privacy. Yeah right.
The phone is different and interesting but not as superb like reviewers are trying to show it and definitely isnt worth the money they are asking, not in this day and age.

xXTRASHBOAT78Xx, 10 Jul 2018What is wrong with choice ?nothing wrong with choice.and in this society you can`t even call things bad or overpriced, because people will say wierd things like:" it`s my money and I do what I want".im just saying that this device is overpriced, with close to none benefit for the bussinesman that it`s aimed at(marketing). As a wannabe bussinesman who works for a big company,I might get a 200-300$ phone and I can work just as fine.in the end people can buy whatever they want with theyr money, I was just semi-frustrated with some reviewers(most of them) who just hype this phone and influence other people to spend money on a product that is(in my opinion)useless and expensive.

Why can't BlackBerry put the letter B below the letter G?

I've got a bone to pick with the editors.
Why do you criticise the screen of this phone, going to lengths of writing several paragraphs as a negative experience, for having an aspect ratio that isn't "media friendly" ??

I agree, it should be brought up. However, doing so against this device because it doesn't come from a company you like is very biased and unprofessional journalism. Especially when you skip over all other companies.

Devices with 18:9 and 19.5:9 aspect ratios, and notches, and curved displays they ALL suffer this problem. And in fact, they are worse offenders than the Blackberry because they make this negative trade-off without any practical benefits; the Key2 at least gets you a nice physical keyboard.

So either GSMArena must admit this is currently the best phone on the market, better than the Samsung S9+ and iPhone X (and copycats).... or just sit there looking like amateur bloggers who have nefarious financial interest in other companies devices.

Ppl who buy this , do it because of the QWERTY.
