Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) review

The Samsung Galaxy A-series are going through a bit of an identity crisis with J-style metal replacing the glass in the lower end of the lineup. But we already knew that - we had the A6 (2018) in for review just last month. Now it's the plus's turn - the Galaxy A6+ (2018) brings more than just a bigger display.

A6+ or p20 lite??

    This is the J series masked under the A series. Shame On you Samsung! And to cease once these large displays of more than 5.6 inches anyway are already exaggerated. We only want phones not tablets in your pocket

      Can Samsung A6+ compete with one plus 6?which one should I buy?

                  I have purchased samsung galaxy A6plus phone one month ago. Now I am feeling that it's a worst phone I have ever used in my life. Only within one month of purchase of this phone, it's low volume key got damaged without any fallen incident.Also hang problem started. Due to its hang problem, when I restarted, it's safe mode became enable and now it is not getting disable due to problem in volume low key. So I am very disappointed with it's performance.

Forgive its SD450 and lack of usb c for that reason. The real deal is Galaxy A9 Star with SD660. Trust me, it is almost a flagship.

                        I've always appreciated Nokia (and moto for that matter) for the ability to change covers.
                        With current mobile trends you can just use stickers or cases/covers.
                        A case that changes the device from metal/plastic to glass is cool. As I get bigger options to customize my phone.

                          It is a shame that Samsung cannot offer their A series with USB-type C in 2018. Samsung is busy becoming a cheap brand and Huawei will dominate here in South Africa.

                            Bit of a shame to see how Samsung have diluted the A-series and what it stood for. Until the A6/A6+, we could assume that an A series phone meant:
                            a) Glass back
                            b) USB-C port
                            c) IP67 protection
                            d) Fast-charging support
                            In all, this led to the A series being seen as a midrange flagship.

                            But with these phones being very similar to the more budget-oriented J series, it's a shame they've been named in the A series.

                                Samsung is at a stand still at best while other manufacturers are paving the way in providing new features. MicroUSB should be obsolete in 2018. Shame!

                                      Still, the display of the A6+ is much much better than the blue tint low quality display of Xiaomi and the same with Huawei (lower and mid range of course).
