i returned mine after 2 days the random over sharping on photos is WAY to over aggressive makes photos look awful and i did turn off AI. Huawei doesn't seem to be doing anything about it

A smartphone has other functionalities than just listening to music or watching videos. And by the way all those phones that do not have headphone jack include a dongle, so its not a big deal to people like me! So i guess you can judge who is a fool between me and you, lol....

Most overhyped and overated phone of 2018. And this is coming from a Huawei user. In terms of UI and experience it better than Samsung and LG and their bloated UX. The camera however is seriously overrated. People should stop looking at DxOmatk average scores nowadays because they focus too much now on useless gimmicky things like Bokeh and Zoom.

No headphone jack, No card slot = No BUY. Although the notch is not as obvious as iPhone X. This phone is just here to compete with iPhone X by convincing iPhone X users to buy this phone instead.

"The Night Mode can't be used for shooting people though, you should have that in mind. It's sort-of a long-exposure shot after all and the subjects should remain still throughout the whole 3 to 6 seconds, which is impossible, especially if you are clubbing. For those occasions the Auto mode will yield better results."
And HDR+ doesn't show ghosting because the exposure time of each frame is a lot shorter (max 1/10s) than on night mode, and only up to 3 or 4 frames are stacked together in auto HDR+. Night mode uses different shutter speed for each frame and generally 9 or 10 frames are taken for each shot.
Night mode is generally much less noisy and can record higher dynamic range though it takes longer to shoot and process the photo.
Different purposes, different mechanism.

And agreeing to be made fool. One day usb c audio won't be hell, mess, chaos. One day wireless audio will reach wired quality, availability, pricing and versatility. Till that happens, you are fool to buy a phone without it.

Are you still on denial to accept P20 pro has a badass camera?? Get a life dude! This debate of Huawei GPU bla...bla..bla.. Is old now, use this beast in real life and see how it chews any intense graphic games like no one's business. About 4k stabilization I really wonder how this is a big deal to some people, I can't remember last when I used 4k resolution to take videos, I normally do that using 1080p resolution which is a charm and well stabilized. What I love about P20 pro is an all rounder smartphone, from lovely Amoled display, Exellent performance, magnificent Cameras, great build quality and class leading battery endurance.

I said many of issues with XZ2 Premium are because of AUBE, while those on P20 Pro can be mostly fixed by software update. And them I proceeded to compare XZ3 and Mate 20 Pro which will be released later this year. You can compare XZ2 and P20 Pro and say XZ2 is better at video recording as long as you want, but Mate 20 Pro is just around the corner and will dominate the smartphone camera segment if they can fix the 4K video recording.

Shoot in auto and you'll get photos miles better than those from iPhone X in every single category especially at night.
