Pocophone F1 by Xiaomi review

22 August 2018
Xiaomi's announcements have been relatively predictable so far, but the introduction of a new Poco sub-brand was a surprising move. It sounds like a marketing experiment - deliver flagship specs at cutthroat prices. Sound familiar? Well, it does remind of how OnePlus came to be, but we're not sure the new Pocophone F1 is headed in the same direction. Poco is still just a brand, and not a separate company and they stand on the shoulders of Xiaomi's logistics and after sales support network.

omkhond, 07 Dec 2020you have miui12For 20k this phone is though not the best but reasonable. If you open too many search items in search option the phone hangs. You have to reboot it. That's annoying.

It is a good phone for a reasonable price. The specifications are good. The only problem I found is sometimes the phones lags if you open too many search items. You need to reboot it. For this price the phone is satisfactory. If you want a phone in and around 20,000.00 you can buy pocofoneF1.

Kunal, 10 Feb 2020 I got disappointed with pocoF1. 1 yr of use...when i speak... moresame here after a year and a half, lots of people complaining about disturbances

Don't know if it's just me but the phone has a ton of little annoying bugs. Apps will shut down for no reason, the touchscreen will freeze until I lock the phone and unlock it, it won't exit from horizontal apps until locked and unlocked, it's annoying that a new Google search wipes out another Google search task so you can't look up a few things at once. Feels like the camera quality also took a turn for the worse with less clear images. The battery is still fine after 1.5 years but definitely not what it used to be.

My friend and I are both gamers we bought a poco f1 directly to a xiaomi phone store, at first it was all good and smooth my friend says he experienced something with the touchscreen but I thought he was joking but as days passed by and everyday use for gaming I've managed to realized and understand what my friend is telling me, randomly the touchscreen will malfunction, several times I've encountered while in clash or I'm trying to escape I can't move, the touchscreen will be off, and I've been so frustrated with it, you can't trust this phone for crucial moments in the game... the poco f1 specs are true but the phone quality and built is not perfect, that's what you get to new brands, unlike what I've experience with asus, iphone(iphone battery is the only problem) those phone brands are the best when it comes to quality.

I used this phone since it launch till now. I used it as my second phone right now because I had ROG 3 as my first. Overall performance is OK smooth and best phone I used after ROG3. The problem I faced is about screen bleeding and battery drain. It not the main cause because the screen bleeding can be fix if properly assembled and the battery need to change after 2year right?

I have been using pocofone f1 and have no issues . Running on miui global 12.0.2 and it's great .It has been 2 years now using it. So keep it up against the big brands , hope to see more poco brands coming in near future.

No idzie by the whole 2 years of usage. Fast no problem. Camera bit worst but for the power price phone was great. I AM with f2 pro now and is much better and compare to the flagship. No more Apple szmataungs . To much with price ripoffs companies. Poco f2 sin worthy

I am using this phone from 4 months it has very bad display and touch issue dont buy it...go for OnePlus

In my case, the battery drainage was caused by new MIUI 11. Yes, I replaced battery first = no effect, than I went back to MIUI 10 = solved the issue. BTW, downgrade the OS is a pain....
